Qin Yu also narrowed his eyes, "Yeah, let’s hope nothing goes wrong! If Flower Valley is struck by another disturbance, Xiang Weiwei will be in danger!"
For a moment, the atmosphere in the wine cellar turned very oppressive, although everyone had avoided the misfortune of being directly buried by the sand.
However, no one knew what awaited them.
"No matter what happens, we need to conserve our energy so we can handle any emergencies. Honey, let’s take a short nap," Qin Yu said.
Su Ziyan nodded slightly and, leaning on Qin Yu’s shoulder, soon fell into a deep sleep.
After some time to adjust, everyone’s eyes gradually got used to the darkness, and they could faintly see Qin Yu and Su Ziyan nestled together, asleep.
Xu Kun was nearly driven mad with jealousy! If it weren’t for being physically outmatched by Qin Yu, he surely would have rushed over and strangled him!
But in the end, Xu Kun suppressed the impulse. Whenever he felt a hint of murderous intent towards Qin Yu, he would get goosebumps, as if any action he took would lead to a fatal retribution!
Yang Fengshan felt the same way. With a gaze full of confusion and uncertainty, he watched Qin Yu. Could this young man be feigning sleep? Could he be hiding a weapon?
With no one breaking the silence, time passed quickly.
In the blink of an eye, two hours had gone by.
Su Ziyan rubbed her somewhat numb neck and slowly opened her eyes. Something felt amiss; her breathing had become much heavier!
And, despite taking in large gulps of air, she still felt an intense sensation of suffocation in her lungs and a burning pain; her heart was racing with panic!
Su Ziyan knew this was a sign that the oxygen in the wine cellar was running low!
Looking around, Su Ziyan saw that everyone had their mouths open, breathing hard, and their faces were all pale.
She glanced at Qin Yu. He was still sound asleep, even his breathing hadn’t changed. Su Ziyan was scared. Could something have happened to her husband?
"Honey, wake up," she said.
Qin Yu slowly woke up and opened his eyes, which sparkled like stars. He cast a casual glance at Xu Kun and Yang Fengshan.
That look from Qin Yu made their hair stand on end, as though they weren’t being watched by Qin Yu but by a ferocious beast!
"Wife, what’s wrong?" Qin Yu asked, ignoring the others and looking worriedly at Su Ziyan.
"Don’t you feel it’s a bit hard to breathe?" Su Ziyan asked, struggling to take a deep breath but still feeling light-headed.
"No," Qin Yu shook his head honestly. He had undergone hypoxia training; even if the oxygen levels were half of what they were now, it would pose no problem for him.
"But I do feel breathing is a bit difficult. I don’t know if the Blackwind Sand has stopped," Su Ziyan said.
Su Ziyan pricked up her ears and heard a rustling sound.
"The Blackwind storm has already stopped. How can we get out? Who knows how much sand has accumulated on top?" Bai Yi said with a grin.
Bai Yi’s words took Qin Yu by surprise. Even with his acute hearing, he couldn’t be sure whether the Blackwind storm had stopped. How could Bai Yi be so certain that the Blackwind Sand had already ceased?
"Since the Blackwind Sand has stopped, shall we go take a look?" Qin Yu suggested.
The most naive among them, Basen, stood up and tried to push the stone slab at the top of the wine cellar with all his might.
However, despite exerting all his strength, Basen could not budge it!
"Let’s all push together! We can surely move it!" Basen exclaimed.
"Yes! Let’s all push together!" Bai Yi stood up, smiling amiably.
