Chapter 2174: Chapter 2174: Hide for a Bit
"The guest rooms have collapsed, which means the entire guesthouse won’t be far behind. Honey, should we bring Old Zaji in?" Su Ziyan looked at Qin Yu with a questioning gaze.
Qin Yu frowned. It wouldn’t be a problem to bring Old Zaji in by himself, but Old Zaji was accompanied by quite a few people.
"Honey, Old Zaji is my mother’s most loyal servant," Su Ziyan pleaded softly.
"Alright, let’s go up," Qin Yu said with a wry smile, it seemed he was about to be the good guy to a fault!
Qin Yu walked leisurely out of the wine cellar, heading through the passageway to the lobby.
Soon, the two reached the entrance, where Qin Yu had set up an Illusion Technique. Su Ziyan, looking confused, asked, "Why is there so much sand piled up at the doorway? Can we still get out?"
Qin Yu smiled slightly and snapped his fingers. The illusion at the doorway was dispelled, and Su Ziyan saw the scene inside the lobby.
The two could feel the ground and walls shaking, as sand continuously fell from the skylight in the ceiling. Small whirlwinds sprang up in the lobby, filling the entire space with dust and sand!
The expressions on Qin Yu and Su Ziyan’s faces turned serious. What was happening? Was this black sandstorm really that fierce?
...
As the guest rooms collapsed, Old Zaji and others, who were hiding behind the cashier’s desk, trembled with fear.
Old Zaji’s face turned extremely ugly! Was this it? Were they going to die here? Old Zaji prayed incessantly, hoping the White Camel God would show a miracle.
Unfortunately, their prayers were of no avail. The black sandstorm not only did not subside but actually grew fiercer! Even small whirlwinds began to appear in the lobby!
"Old Zaji, are we going to die here today?" Basen’s face was very unsightly.
"Quite possibly, this is the largest black sandstorm I’ve ever seen! The center of the storm is definitely over force twelve! The guesthouse will collapse sooner or later!" Old Zaji slumped to the ground.
Just when everyone was in despair, a clear voice reached them.
"Uncle Zaji, where are you?"
After entering the lobby, Su Ziyan looked around but didn’t see anyone. She looked up at the second floor with a worried gaze, hoping that Uncle Zaji’s room wasn’t the one that had collapsed!
Hearing Su Ziyan’s voice, Old Zaji was overjoyed. He quickly stood up and shouted, "Miss... Miss Ziyan, I’m here! Puh... Bah!"
The moment he stood up, a small whirlwind hit him, filling his mouth with sand.
"Uncle Zaji, come with us quickly, we’ll take shelter in the wine cellar! After the black sandstorm passes, we can go out," called Su Ziyan joyfully, turning around when she heard Old Zaji’s voice.
"Okay!" Old Zaji didn’t hesitate and quickly strode toward where Su Ziyan and Qin Yu were.
Bai Yi, Basen, and others hastened to follow Old Zaji’s steps, as the members of the exploration team from the second floor rushed down, competing to get ahead.
"Uncle Zaji, take us with you!" Xu Kun, Yang Fengshan, and Zhou Xiao supported each other and rushed down the stairs!
Boom! Boom! Several more rooms on the second floor collapsed!
Qin Yu looked at Xu Kun with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.
Xu Kun coughed awkwardly and said, "Cough, cough... Mr. Qin, it’s fate that we’ve met, please take us to the wine cellar."
"Let’s go," Qin Yu said indifferently, leading everyone toward the entrance.
When they reached the entrance, Xu Kun and Yang Fengshan were stunned. What the hell? They had clearly cleaned up this wall before, and they had not found the entrance!
Xu Kun instinctively wanted to ask, but before he could speak,
the guesthouse’s ceiling finally couldn’t bear the weight of the sand any longer and, with a loud crash, the ceiling shattered, beam and stone masonry falling all about!
