"Thank you for saving my life." The girl looked at Ye Luo with a smile, her lively eyes twinkling, instantaneously appearing adorable.
"May I know your name? And are you from Miaojiang?" Ye Luo asked the Miaojiang girl.
"My name is Miao Xiaoling, you can call me Xiao Ling. I am from Miaojiang. And who might you be?" Miao Xiaoling asked curiously, looking at Ye Luo and the others.
"Let’s leave this place first," Ye Luo suggested after a moment of thought, and the group of people quickly left the area.
A minute later, Can Wolf arrived with a group of people, and upon seeing the corpses strewn all over the ground, their expressions changed to one of shock.
Can Wolf’s pupils shrank as he scrutinized the bodies with flickering eyes.

It took half a day for Ye Luo and his companions to find a small inn. After settling down, Nie Yuntian quickly asked Miao Xiaoling.
"You are from Miaojiang. Do you know anything about your Miao Tribe’s Second Elder kidnapping two women recently?"
"How did you know our Second Elder kidnapped two women?" Miao Xiaoling looked at Nie Yuntian in amazement.
"Because those two women are my daughters," Nie Yuntian said gravely.
"So, they are your daughters," Miao Xiaoling responded somewhat surprised.
Nie Yuntian, appearing tense, stared at Miao Xiaoling and asked, "How are they now? Has the Second Elder done anything to them?"
"Ever since they were captured and brought to the Miao Village, they’ve been tied to pillars in the village, enduring the brutal heat of the sun every day. Their condition is very poor," Miao Xiaoling said with a furrowed brow, shaking her head.
Upon hearing this, Nie Yuntian sighed deeply, pain evident in his eyes.
"It’s my fault as a father for letting this happen to them."
"Uncle Nie, don’t be upset. We’ll set out for Miaojiang tomorrow and rescue Wen Yu and Wen Ling," Ye Luo said directly to Nie Yuntian.
"You’re going to Miaojiang to rescue them?" Miao Xiaoling looked at the two with a surprised expression.
"Is there a problem?" Ye Luo’s gaze swept towards the young girl from Miaojiang.
Miao Xiaoling quickly explained, "Miaojiang isn’t a place just anyone can enter. Moreover, the Second Elder seems to really hate those two sisters, and many skilled members of the tribe are guarding them. It’s impossible for you to rescue them."
"No matter what, I will rescue them. Now tell me your story: Why did those people kidnap you? Your identity must be more than just a member of the Miaojiang people," Ye Luo said, fixing his eyes on Miao Xiaoling.
"I don’t know why they kidnapped me; it seems to have something to do with the ’Blood Demon Cave,’ but I have no idea what that is," Miao Xiaoling shook her head.

"By the way, you still haven’t mentioned your identity?" Ye Luo asked again.
