When Lili saw the man holding the spear, she immediately hid nervously behind Zhao Rong. Pointing at the primitive-looking human, she said, "Zhao Rong, look at that tribesman over there with the spear. Do you think he’s part of some prehistoric human civilization?"

"Maybe, it’s possible," Zhao Rong said uncertainly. "But while human civilization might be cyclical, it still requires a process of evolution."

Yu Lan asked, "Zhao Rong, does that mean the people in this prehistoric civilization we’ve traveled to haven’t evolved into modern humans yet? That they’re still in a very primitive stage?"

Zhao Rong nodded, cautiously watching the hostile man with the spear approach them. "Not necessarily," he said to Yu Lan. "Let’s take our own world as an example. Even though humanity has entered the industrial and digital ages, there are still uncontacted and undeveloped tribes living in parts of Africa, the Amazon rainforest, and on remote islands in the Pacific Ocean."

Yu Lan nodded thoughtfully. "I understand, Zhao Rong. You’re saying that this prehistoric era we’ve landed in might not only have primitive tribes. There could be more intelligent, more advanced humans as well."

Before Yu Lan could finish, Xuelian suddenly pointed at a green-skinned being, over two meters tall, flying in the sky nearby. "Holy cow! Zhao Rong, look!" she exclaimed in amazement. "That flying person looks exactly like the people from Director Cameron’s *Avatar*!"

When Zhao Rong saw the Avatar-like creature flying in the sky, he immediately made an assessment. "Holy cow... If I’m not mistaken, the highest level of civilization in this prehistoric society is definitely more advanced than ours. Look at that being! It’s flying without any propulsion or machinery, and it’s incredibly fast."

Just then, the assistant standing behind Zhao Rong pulled a bow and arrow from his pocket, nocked an arrow, and fired it at the flying Avatar.

When Zhao Rong saw his assistant needlessly stir up trouble by shooting at the creature, he immediately yelled for everyone to hit the dirt. They scrambled to hide behind a giant leaf. "Assistant, do you have a death wish?" he hissed. "We can’t act rashly until we know how powerful these prehistoric people are! Otherwise, we’ll all die horrible deaths!"

Before Zhao Rong could finish, the flying Avatar noticed the arrow speeding toward it. With a mere flick of its finger, the arrow disintegrated into a puff of smoke and vanished. As Zhao Rong and his four companions gasped in awe at the Avatar’s power, the primitive tribesman, clad in animal skins, had crept up on them. He brandished his spear, hurled it at the group, and roared, "You modern humans have invaded our native forest again! I will capture you and eat you!"

Zhao Rong’s head throbbed. They were trying to hide from the flying Avatar, but now a tribesman on the ground was attacking them. "Damn it, what rotten luck," he muttered. "If we fight this guy on the ground, the Avatar in the sky will definitely spot us."

Lili said despondently, "But, Zhao Rong, if we don’t fight back, are we just supposed to sit here and wait to be killed and eaten by that man and his spear?"

Yu Lan reminded her, "Lili, if we fight him, we’ll definitely expose our position. The Avatar in the sky would kill us in an instant."

Xuelian glared at the assistant. "This is all your fault, stirring up trouble for no reason!" she said angrily. "Look what you’ve done! You’ve put all our lives in grave danger!"

"Thank God it didn’t find us," Yu Lan said, immensely relieved. "If that highly intelligent being had discovered us, the five of us would have died just as horribly. There wouldn’t even be ashes left."
