The thought of ten million euros—a truly massive sum—made the assistant’s eyes light up. "Xuelian," he asked, "does this mean we’re about to strike it rich?"

Xuelian nodded affirmatively. "Yes."

At that moment, Yu Lan stepped forward and pulled a large net from her pocket. "Brother Zhao Rong," she said, "how about we use this fishing net to snare this guy?"

As she spoke, she threw the net toward the headmaster. However, to her shock, the net disintegrated and burst into flames the moment it touched his body.

Zhao Rong shook his head again. "Yu Lan, you’re also overestimating this so-called Martian Worm. If it were that heat-resistant and powerful, it wouldn’t be here working for Wang Jingang."

Xuelian opened her phone to search for information about the Martian Worm. "Brother Zhao Rong, I found it! In North America, a scientist’s experiment went wrong, and nuclear waste leaked into the sewers. The rats there mutated, creating a new species called the Martian Worm! This guy claims to have come from an insect, but he’s actually a monster mutated from a rat!"

Just then, the headmaster of the Magic Academy began to transform. He revealed sharp fangs and claws, laughing maniacally. "If you think I’m just a simple, tiny, cute little firefly, you are sorely mistaken! Now, I’ll show you that even among fireflies, there can be freaks of nature!"
