Chapter 614: Chapter 575: True Dragon
When the assistant and the three women saw the tornado suddenly appear in the sky, they gaped in astonishment. "My goodness, where did that tornado come from?" one of them asked curiously. Standing beside them, Zhao Rong noticed their naive expressions. He said with a smile, "Have you forgotten? Just a moment ago, I was using the remote to make the straw hat fly across the sky. Let me tell you, this tornado was created by the hat spinning in the air."
Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, it dawned on the assistant. He looked at the tornado that had materialized in the sky and asked, "Brother Zhao Rong, I really want to know—what does a tornado have to do with getting rid of these killer bees?"
Lili also asked curiously, "Brother Zhao Rong, can the tornado suck up the killer bees and freeze them to death inside?"
Yu Lan disagreed. "If it’s a tornado that massive," she explained, "it would surely tear the killer bees to shreds. How could it freeze them? They’d be blown apart, not frozen."
Xuelian, who was observing the wildly spinning tornado, added in astonishment, "Oh my gosh! If I’m not mistaken, that’s at least a level 12 wind!"
While everyone was marveling, Zhao Rong suddenly pressed the black button beneath the blue one. As soon as he pressed the button, the tornado transformed into a massive dragon and lunged toward the killer bees flying in the sky.
When the assistant and the three women saw the tornado instantly morph into a dragon, their faces turned pale with fright. "Brother Zhao Rong," they said in disbelief, "what kind of Illusion Technique did you use to turn a tornado into a living dragon? This is completely unscientific!"
The assistant stared at the massive creature, pointing at its head. "This dragon has the horns of an ox, the body of a snake, the talons of an eagle, and the scales of a fish! It’s straight out of ancient legends!"
Lili pulled out her phone, found a picture of a dragon, and compared it to the one soaring above. "It’s exactly like the flying dragons we see on TV," she said, amazed. "Not like those terrifying lizards they talk about in the West."
Yu Lan frantically recorded a short video, uploading it to TikTok and Tencent Video. "Once I post this," she said, "my follower count will definitely skyrocket to a million!"
Meanwhile, Xuelian took out her camera, fitted with ten lenses for long-distance shots, to photograph the dragon. "I’m going to use this camera to capture a vivid image of this dragon," she said, "and prove to the world that they really exist."
As everyone marveled at its appearance, the dragon charged into the swarm of killer bees. Zhao Rong pointed to the sky. "Look!" he told his assistant and the three women. "The dragon has started devouring them!"
When the assistant saw the dragon begin to eat the killer bees, he grinned, revealing a row of uneven teeth. "This is truly magical. I thought you’d use some new type of weapon to kill them, Brother Zhao Rong. I never imagined you’d conjure a giant dragon to eat them. This is completely shattering my worldview!"
When Lili saw that the dragon could swallow a dozen killer bees in a single gulp, she was moved to say, "Using a dragon to deal with these killer bees was the perfect idea! It can swallow a dozen in one bite. At this rate, it will only take a few more bites to finish them all!"
By then, the dragon had already eaten about half of the killer bees. "Go, dragon, go!" Yu Lan cheered, clapping her hands. "I’m rooting for you! Eat all those chaotically flying bees as fast as you can!"
Xuelian was amazed at the dragon’s speed. "Wow, this dragon is eliminating them so quickly! Using insecticide would be nowhere near as efficient as just unleashing a dragon to eat them."
Before the women could finish speaking, the dragon had devoured every last one of the killer bees. After finishing its meal, it circled in the sky twice before flying toward Zhao Rong.
Watching the dragon approach, the assistant swallowed nervously. "Brother Zhao Rong, is it coming over to be your mount?"
"You’re so unimaginative!" Lili said, giving him a light shove. "How could Brother Zhao Rong ride this adorable dragon like a horse? I bet it’s going to be his pet!"
Yu Lan disagreed. "I think that when it gets here, it will transform into a handsome young man and become friends with Brother Zhao Rong."
Hearing this, Xuelian said with anticipation, "It would be great if this dragon-turned-man is even more handsome than Brother Zhao Rong! That way, our team would have another handsome guy."
Just then, the dragon flying toward Zhao Rong instantly vanished in mid-air, turning back into a tornado. The tornado hovered for a moment before it slowly subsided, becoming a cyclone. Not long after, the cyclone dissipated into a gust of wind. After blowing for a moment, the wind coalesced into a straw hat, which then gently floated down and landed on Zhao Rong’s head.
Once the hat was back on his head, Zhao Rong smiled at his assistant and the three women. "Now, you won’t underestimate this straw hat anymore, will you?"
The assistant, feeling the hat was invaluable, said, "Brother, not only will I never underestimate it again, but I’ll also treat it like a priceless treasure."
Lili thought the hat was incredible. "That’s not a straw hat," she said, "it’s pure magic!"
Yu Lan shook her head, looking at the hat with fascination. "That’s not a straw hat," she said, "it’s a middle-aged man with a story to tell."
Xuelian, who was clearly smitten with it, added, "Brother Zhao Rong, it would be wonderful if you could give this hat to me! I would treasure it forever as a token of your affection."
Just as Zhao Rong, his assistant, and the three women were discussing the straw hat, a deep, gruff male voice suddenly echoed through the space.
"You fools are on your deathbeds, and you’re still here celebrating."
