Knock, knock, knock.
The sound of knocking began.
Thomas Shannon turned and walked towards the bedroom, opened the door, and Charlie River lowered his voice to say, "Young Master, Miss Zane is here."
"Let her come up."
"Yes, Young Master." Charlie instructed through the wireless earpiece, "Let Miss Zane come up."
Fluffy Zane initially didn’t understand why Thomas Shannon brought her over, until she entered the bedroom and saw Sophie Sullivan lying on the bed, then she suddenly realized something.
"She’s not in a good mood, try to enlighten her."
As he spoke, Thomas Shannon pointed to Sophie and then left the bedroom.
The bedroom door closed, Fluffy Zane wheeled herself to the bedside, "Fennie, what’s wrong?"
Sophie gripped the bedsheet tightly, "Why did he bring you here too?"
Pausing for a moment, Sophie continued, "Never mind that, give me your mobile phone."
Fluffy, not understanding but compliant, handed over her mobile phone and Sophie dialed Lucifer’s number, holding her breath in anticipation.
However, the signal here was already blocked, she couldn’t make the call at all.
She tried several times, and it was still the same.
Frustrated, she handed the phone back to Fluffy, who glanced at her and then recalled the men in black she had seen when she arrived, it seemed like more than just security.
But rather... surveillance.
"Fennie, did you and Young Master Shannon have a fight?"
"No, it’s a complete breakdown." Sophie shrugged indifferently, "Why did he bring you here?"
"Young Master Shannon just asked me to try to enlighten you..."
Sophie sneered, "Forget about enlightening me; this knot in my heart can’t be untied. Fluffy, do me a favor."
"What favor?"
Sophie tightly held her hand, "After you leave, help me contact Lucifer and ask him to come and rescue me."
Fluffy nodded blankly, "Okay."
Sophie gave her Lucifer’s contact information and a few instructions, which Fluffy memorized one by one.
Downstairs, Thomas Shannon sat on the sofa smoking, the ashtray was already full of cigarette butts.
Charlie poured him a cup of water, "Young Master, can Miss Zane really persuade the maniac?"
