Chapter 255: Chapter 243: Borrowing Primordial Yin for a Moment

Flying over two hundred zhang into the air, the long-haired woman waved the Red Silk in her hand. The Water Qi in the void swarmed toward her, forming a whip tens of zhang long, which she then lashed at the dark cloud.

"BOOM!"

Struck by the long-haired woman’s whip, the dark cloud trembled slightly. All sorts of strange sounds suddenly erupted from within it.

As these strange sounds appeared, the cloud, which had been as solid as a rock, began to break apart, faintly revealing a shadow a thousand zhang long.

Seeing the long-haired woman’s display, the two City Lords of Python City were shocked. This Thousand-foot Python was incredibly formidable; riding the clouds and mists and summoning wind and rain were its instincts. They never imagined this woman could rely on her own Cultivation to forcefully strip the Thousand-foot Python of its cloud qi.

This ability was far beyond what the two City Lords could have imagined!

"Excellent!" The Great City Lord of Python City’s pupils shrank slightly as he shouted, "Fairy Xu Li, what skill! Please hold on, we will attack immediately!"

The long-haired woman nodded slightly, saying nothing.

Dragons are born with the ability of Water Control. This Thousand-foot Python had just been using Water Qi to launch all kinds of attacks, which even two Half-Step True Dao Experts couldn’t withstand. But the long-haired woman, relying on her Red Silk and her painstakingly cultivated Nine Heavens Soft Water Technique, was forcefully wrestling control of the Water Qi from the Thousand-foot Python. That was how she managed to disperse the dark clouds the python controlled.

Water Qi was the Thousand-foot Python’s most formidable weapon. As long as the Water Qi could be cleared away, the Thousand-foot Python’s power would be greatly diminished.

"RUMBLE!"

When the two City Lords of Python City saw the dark clouds begin to part, joy appeared on their faces, and they each threw two punches.

The power of a True Dao Expert lies in their Spiritual Power and the Innate True Qi within their bodies. Spiritual Power allows them to communicate with heaven and earth. Relying on their formidable Spiritual Power and Innate True Qi, True Dao Experts can borrow a portion of the Power of Heaven and Earth to attack their enemies.

The two City Lords of Python City had not reached the True Dao, but as Half-Step True Dao Experts, they could still call upon a sliver of the Power of Heaven and Earth. The four punches they threw contained a terrifying amount of this power. As the Fist Force erupted, the clouds in the sky were pushed aside, and it seemed as if a scar had been torn into the very fabric of space!

Distracted by the long-haired woman, the Thousand-foot Python’s movements faltered slightly. In that brief moment of hesitation, it was struck by a punch. The terrifying Fist Force bent its thousand-foot-long body.

"ROAR!"

The Thousand-foot Python let out a great roar.

The roar of a Hundred-foot Python was already enough to kill a Martial Arts Seventh Layer expert, and the roar of this Thousand-foot Python was more than a hundred times more powerful. This single great roar made all of Python City tremble. The Martial Artists directly below the giant beast were killed on the spot by the sheer force of the sound.

A trickle of blood seeped from the corner of the long-haired woman’s mouth. She had been relying on her Red Silk to fight the Thousand-foot Python for control of the Water Qi, essentially pitting her strength against it alone. The python’s unexpected roar made her qi and blood stagnate, injuring her instantly.

The long-haired woman was injured, but the two City Lords of Python City weren’t faring any better. The Thousand-foot Python’s roar had been aimed primarily at them. The immense cry caused both of them to spit up a mouthful of fresh blood, their own blood and qi boiling within them.

The two City Lords had no time to worry about their injuries and attacked in unison. Though the Thousand-foot Python’s power was immense, there was a brief pause after its roar. That sliver of time was more than enough for them to act.

"RUMBLE—"

The two City Lords of Python City launched a desperate assault. Faced with such a ferocious attack, even a beast as powerful as the Thousand-foot Python couldn’t fully withstand it. Roaring continuously, it slowly began to move away from the skies above Python City.

The three humans and the python fought as they flew, and in a short time, they had traveled thousands of miles, deep into the marsh.

Shortly after arriving in the marsh, an endless torrent of Water Qi surged forth, engulfing the three of them.

"This is bad!" the Great City Lord of Python City shouted. "The Python Marsh is filled with abundant Water Qi, the perfect environment for the Thousand-foot Python to fight! We have to go all out!"

"WHOOSH!" The two City Lords pressed their palms together. The Great City Lord then made a phantom pressing motion with his own hand. Instantly, a massive palm materialized in the sky and smashed down viciously toward the Thousand-foot Python.

This palm was the combined strike of the two Half-Step True Dao Experts, and it was as if the sky itself were suddenly collapsing. Setting aside the power contained within the giant palm, the terrifying aura alone carried the might to subdue an enemy without a fight.

The two men from Python City simultaneously unleashed their strongest attacks. And the long-haired woman, who had been suppressing the Thousand-foot Python all along, also launched an attack of her own.

She waved the Red Silk in her hand, and it transformed into a red streak of light tens of zhang long, coiling toward the Thousand-foot Python. Her attack appeared to have no power, but the giant palm strike from the two City Lords subconsciously avoided her Red Silk, as if the silk ribbon carried something terrifying.

The Thousand-foot Python knew the three humans were now fighting for their lives. It let out a great roar, and its massive tail, carrying the sound of wind and thunder and crackling with faint lightning, whipped viciously toward the three of them.
