What the hell is this!
It looked like a prison from the last century, featuring walls that were spotty yet strong, towering watchtowers, and steel pipes strewn all over. Compound after compound of squat houses lined up before me, chaotically embedded in the space further inside. Through these buildings, one could even see lampposts, streets, and staircases, resembling the interconnected roadways of a town built along a mountain. They crisscrossed like blood vessels on the surface of this massive entity!
"Wandering life, you have been captured for unlawfully stealing the Dark Matter Spring Eye. You will receive the highest punishment from the Da Xuan Dynasty!" Between those huge searchlights, a voice akin to a broadcast rang out.
This voice, mixed with terrifying sound waves, slapped across Wu Hen’s bewildered face.
Wu Hen never imagined that this land had laws, let alone that he’d find himself in a prison that was about to imprison him!
The next second, the prison behemoth emitted a sound of gears working. Through Spiritual Vision, Wu Hen could see that on the shoulders of the prison-like behemoth were structures resembling ancient walls, with rows of chain crossbow carts arranged on top. As the chains moved, the crossbow carts fired hooks carrying strong magnetic energy!
Wu Hen immediately dodged backward, as terrifying hooks, like the fangs and claws of mythological Fierce Beasts, attacked the area where he stood...
Thankfully, he had replenished some Spiritual Energy not long ago. There was a slight recovery in his physical functions. Relying on his strong Perception and his own reactions, Wu Hen ran and dodged the powerful magnetic hooks!
Although the hooks weren’t very big, the moment they touched the ground, they would create a spherical Magnetic Prohibition Field almost as large as a football stadium.
Wu Hen enveloped himself with Holy Breath, constantly accelerating. However, the hooks were extremely dense. Some passed just over his head and landed directly in front of him, cutting off his escape route.
"Do not struggle in vain; you will receive a fair trial!" That broadcast voice sounded again.
Wu Hen suddenly looked back and realized that the prison behemoth actually had limbs!
Its limbs were highly agile mechanical supports, and at the very bottom were tracks similar to those of a tank. The tracks seemed to also utilize some kind of anti-gravity technology, with startling speed.
Wu Hen had escaped more than twenty miles, but the prison behemoth was still swaying its body and closing in.
Under the bright moon, amid fertile soil, a living prison was chasing a living person. The scene was incredibly bizarre and absurd.
He felt like he was living a teenager’s nightmare. He remembered that only when he was in junior high and exposed to all sorts of weird anime would he dream about being chased by monsters. Now, the dream had invaded reality and overwhelmed Wu Hen, who had seen his fair share of extraordinary scenes.
"Buzz!"
"Buzz!"
"Buzz!"
Suddenly, all those magnetic hooks that had drilled into the soil erupted with even greater energy. The Magnetic Prohibition Field the size of a sports stadium seemed to form a colossal sealing matrix...
Wu Hen was about to dive into the dense jungle ahead, but the forest was suddenly evaporated by some force.
Then, Wu Hen saw the power of Magnetic Restriction forming rings of Prohibition from the sky to the ground, enveloping his head and all around him.
The Holy Infant within surged silently no more, ceasing to provide Wu Hen with even a trace of energy. Deprived of Holy Breath, Wu Hen’s host body was just an ordinary life form in this Otherworldly Desert Dust.
However, what shocked Wu Hen immensely was that the ruler of this tiny land actually possessed means of "Extraordinary Restriction," not only was the Holy Infant completely suppressed, but other Divine Skills were also losing connection!
"Please stand still and do not use any abilities any longer." The broadcast voice rang out again, continually imposing on Wu Hen and warning him against any rash actions.
Wu Hen was now completely immobilized.
His soul had just awakened, and although he hadn’t had time to enhance this host body, the powers he carried made him an unbeatable existence within the Heavenly Light.

It was utterly unexpected that he would encounter such a ludicrous situation as soon as he stepped out, shaking him up inside.
Even though the Sword Spirit Dragon inside him couldn’t possibly be blocked by a being of this level, unveiling the Shura Sword right in Newbie Village was embarrassingly premature.
"Forget it, if I’m caught, I’m caught. It might be a plot twist. As long as Little Yi’s power isn’t cut off from me, I can break free anytime. Let’s see what all this is really about," Wu Hen sighed, no longer struggling.
The Magnetic Prohibition Fields the size of several sports stadiums finally started to dissipate one by one.
But Wu Hen was now shackled with Forbidden Spirit Shackles. Once placed around the neck, they would detect the Transcendent factors within Wu Hen’s body, and the moment he tried to summon Transcendent Powers, they would immediately be blocked.
"Damn, that’s some powerful stuff, turning a Cosmic Superman into an ordinary person," Wu Hen was secretly amazed.
However, it was probably because his Holy Cultivation was still at the Holy Infant Realm. If he managed to ascend one more realm, those Forbidden Spirit Shackles should not be able to hold him.
"Name." The spotlight shone on Wu Hen, and his figure seemed particularly insignificant against the pitch-black soil.
"Bai Luobo." Wu Hen offered his new name.
"What kind of life form are you?" the broadcast voice continued to interrogate.
"I don’t know," Wu Hen answered.
"You just used the Xuanzhen Skill, tell us your Evolution Chain Gate or which power you belong to," the broadcast voice asked again.
"I picked it up during my Otherworldly Walk, and I tried to cultivate it on my own," Wu Hen explained.
"An Otherworldly Wanderer... Register with that identity," came a lighter voice from the broadcast.
"I have just arrived and do not know what I have done to offend you to the point of being hunted like this. If you have a civilized system, please release me," Wu Hen began to attempt friendly communication with them.
"Do not worry, we will give you a fair trial," said the male voice in the broadcast.
After a brief interrogation, Wu Hen was slowly dragged by the hook into that prison.
As Wu Hen neared this bizarre gargantuan, he realized it was indeed a prison!
More precisely, it was a prison town!
As the chase ended, that creature began to stretch out its "body." Wu Hen saw an iron gate fall to the ground, followed by the walls lined with electromagnetic crossbow carts. The walls were not large but perfectly enclosed the prison town.
Wu Hen had seen Transformers, where a car transformed into a Battle Mecha.
The changing process he was witnessing now was somewhat similar: a cluster of buildings deconstructed into a town. In the center of the town were several rusted prisons, surrounded by more conventional streets and stairways. Limited by area, the buildings were staggered up and down, spiraling around the steep mountain backbone, like ancient towns built upon cliff faces...
When Wu Hen was dragged in front of the iron gate, a town spontaneously appeared on this piece of land. He could even see the townspeople emerging from their houses, beginning their daily routines, sweeping the streets, oiling the machines buried under the roads, and vendors were pulling their carts onto the streets, starting to sell their specialties.
The ordinarily bizarre sight of a town market unfolded before Wu Hen. Yet all these daily life activities were taking place on the spine of that prison creature. Although Wu Hen had witnessed Human Clan living on the spine of an Ancient Giant Beast as if it was land, the sight of this living prison town that could attack people and capture prey still astounded him, marveling at the wonders of the universe!
This prison town was clearly here for the Spiritual Fertile Land that Wu Hen had discovered. One could see their heavy machinery, like drilling rigs, pounding into this writhing soil. The whole town’s activity was not for market trade; it was clear that all actions were aimed at extracting this Spiritual Fertile Land, resembling a busy early morning in an industrial town...
Before long, a group of people wearing clean uniforms came out.
They were fully armed with night-vision helmets and specially made lightweight combat suits, with guns at their waists and simple tactical backpacks... They walked straight towards Wu Hen and subjected him to a thorough check to ensure the prisoner would not pose any more threats before taking him into their prison town.
"Our detection indicates that this suspect is of Tianmang Life," a female prison officer said.
"He has some skill, but not much," said the Prison Director indifferently.
A team escorted Wu Hen into the now-still town, passing through the busiest market area. The eyes of men and women in the town all turned to Wu Hen, curiously sizing up the person who had warranted the deployment of twenty of their town’s Magnetic Restriction Crossbow Cars.
"Chief, this catch could net a huge reward, it’s a Cang Chu fugitive wanted for a high price. Our town’s roads haven’t been renovated for a while; someone sneaking a peak through a girl’s window at night, and the whole street can hear the loose bricks," a man looking like a miner called out jokingly.
"Shut your mouth!" the female prison officer scolded.
"Brother, if you were really skilled, the screams of your girl would wake the whole street. We’ve only caught a suspect, he’s innocent until proven guilty, we can’t just pin crimes on someone recklessly," the Prison Director also joked back at the busybody man.
"This thief looks pretty weak, wasn’t using the Forbidden Magnetic Crossbow Car a bit overkill? After all, the energy consumed could feed our entire town for a month," someone criticized the Prison Director.
"This is a prison, not the peaceful town you live in. Arresting is our duty. If you can’t live here, you might as well do your farming work in the nearby villages," the female prison officer said.
"Hehehe, Miss Fan still can’t take a joke."
"But our town has been lacking fruits and spring water for a while now. The immune systems of the Prison Director’s staff must be declining, right..."
"Yes, Dark Radiation can turn those with low immunity into Evil Spirits, and it would be troublesome if our town produced an Evil Spirit!"
