Chapter 130: Chapter 129: Shop 2

[Skills]

Fwossh...

Quinn was met with a blinding mix of almost rainbow-like colors after tapping on the skills section!

Ting... ting... ting...

[A Rank Skills Minimum Price: 30 SC!]

[S Rank Skills Minimum Price: 100 SC!]

[SS Rank Skills Minimum Price: 2,500 SC!]

[SSS Rank Skills Minimum Price: 5,000 SC!]

Quinn forgot to breathe as the brackets for each rank popped up endlessly, stretching all the way from E-rank to SSS-rank!

"Holy... this is what I am talking about!!" Quinn stared at the temporarily unlocked feature of the shop!

This was exactly what he had imagined from the very beginning, the absolute OP displays in the shop list!

The shifting, rainbow-like colors of this special privilege were heaven compared to the shitty, almost bland aesthetic of the shop when it was locked at the Bronze tier! Not only could he buy all kinds of skills, but they were actually accessible right now!

"Too bad... this will only happen once. I wonder when I can unlock this privilege permanently?..." Quinn was left with the bitter taste of reality, knowing this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity... well, for now. Though he wasn’t totally complaining about the shitty Bronze tier, he was disappointed to the max.

"Enough with that... let’s see the skills now!" He tapped on the S-rank skill bracket. The system stated the minimum price was only 100 SC... and he had 241! Maybe he could actually find exactly what he was looking for.

Since the beginning... utility skills had been one of his greatest weaknesses. Not entirely because of the soul bonding, but because he wanted to find the exact skill he needed most.

He needed a breaking type or some kind of skill that would help him remove the cuffs and the iron collar around his neck... he also wanted to find a skill related to detection. Although he had a solid skill set for battles, utility skills remained one of his biggest hurdles.

He was absolutely sure that something dormant was buried or perhaps even planted inside the bodies of his handful of MILFs... and he couldn’t risk anything knowing that the higher-up beings were definitely not dumb enough to blindly trust the insects they assigned.

Ting...

[Heaven Splitter (S Rank) - Unleashes a single strike powerful enough to split everything in its path.]

Mana consumption: 1,000 per use (usable for mid-tier)

Price: 500 SC

[Throne of a Thousand Blades (S+ Rank) - Creates a domain filled with a pool of blood and countless floating, controlled swords.]

Mana consumption: 10,000 per use (usable for mid-tier)

Price: 1,000 SC

Quinn sucked in a heavy breath at the ridiculous price of the second skill on display! How could that skill even be categorized as a mere S-rank... that skill belonged in a definitely higher tier than that! Still, he couldn’t do anything but marvel at the amazing ability.

Now he was really wondering how any normal being could even use that skill, considering the whopping 10,000 mana required just to activate it! Still, he didn’t dwell on it; offensive-type skills were not his current intention.

....

...

...

Quinn could only look at the crazy assortment of skills... they were all legitimate, high-tier S-rank abilities! Everything he had seen so far was incredibly strong and useful in its own right!

He even found a much better version of regeneration, where even a completely severed limb would regenerate and form a brand-new one in less than an hour! Still, Quinn could only look on with tearful eyes at the crazy price... it was a whopping 300 SC!

He felt the sharp pang of being a dirt-poor man... his previous smug expression was entirely flipped. It was just crazy how the system priced things! It was a freaking scam; the minimum price listed earlier was clearly just to encourage him for a bit.

Still... the skills were genuinely top-tier just based on their descriptions alone.

Swipe... swipe... swipe...

Quinn paused after seeing an interesting skill! It’s one of the utilities he want to find the most.

[Disarm (S- rank) - completely disarmed everything within the touch, it can be mana, attacks, and even artifacts.]

Mana consumption: 100 mana per use.

Price: 150 SC

"Hmm...but will it really work? Using a this to completely remove everything and use the mysterious orb?" Quinn touched the collar in his neck.

For sure...the collar in his neck is an artifact. Even though he pulled it apart and even tried crushing it, there no damage or even a single dent was seen...it was completely hard that Quinn gave up already.

That’s the thing...if he can disarm or do anything by his touch...then it will greatly help them escape without any tracking and pursuer s...and for the orb, he will complete that crazy task in hand.

"Hah...I even don’t have the courage to look on the higher rank skill anymore." Quinn was already spent just from the agonizing torture he underwent and the ridiculous amount of SC in every skills..

"But...let’s check something first. It’s only my chance anyway." Quinn tapped the SSS Rank bracket! It’s best to look at the best than the other one!

Just..maybe he got some lucky draw right?

[ The World SSS+ Rank Your presence carried the weight of the world!]

[ Price: @#$+$2]

Quinn don’t have any words to utter as he looked at the very first skill displayed! Its was utterly a skill that will shallow the world whole!

There’s not even a mana consumption, even the price was obscured with unknown letters as it couldn’t calculate true amount...or just maybe Quinn don’t have that capacity to know that my thing yet.

[ Emperor’s Eyes SSS- Rank - .....]

[ Palm Of God - SSS+ Rank -.....]

He slowly swipe down, one by one with his bloodshot eyes! Quinn was literally biting his nails as the unknown things presented to him like a buffet!

Unfortunately the buffet was a mirage casted by his dreams...it’s just impossible to grasp as of the moment...
