The giant stone hand sank into the cobblestones. The street rippled like water and flattened out.
Chopper swallowed his cotton candy. Bonney chewed her paella. They stood in the middle of the empty plaza. The townsfolk had already fled.
The ground in front of them bubbled. A massive, muscular man rose from the stone. He wore spiked shoulder pads and a gladiator helmet. He glared down at the doctor and the glutton.
"Straw Hat Pirates," Pica declared.
Chopper froze. Bonney stopped chewing.
Pica's voice did not match his body. It sounded like a balloon leaking air. It pitched higher than a toddler's squeak.
"I will crush you," Pica squeaked menacingly. "I will present your broken bodies to Doffy as a gift."
Silence hung in the air.
Chopper clamped his hooves over his mouth. His cheeks puffed out. His eyes watered.
Bonney swallowed her food. She covered her mouth with her hand. Her shoulders shook violently.
"Pfft," Bonney snorted.
"Squeak," Chopper wheezed.
Pica frowned. The veins on his forehead bulged. "Are you laughing at my voice?!" he demanded. His voice cracked on the last word, hitting an impossible soprano note.
That broke them.
Bonney fell backward, clutching her stomach. "BWAHAHAHA! What is that?!"
Chopper rolled on the ground, kicking his legs in the air. "It doesn't match! It doesn't match at all! He sounds like a squeaky toy!"
Pica roared. "DIE!"
The plaza erupted. Giant spears of solid rock shot from the ground, aiming directly to impale them.
Chopper didn't stop laughing. He casually kicked the ground.
Geppo. Chopper launched into the air, bypassing the stone spears entirely.
Bonney didn't dodge. She wiped a tear from her eye. "Time Alter: Double Accel," she whispered.
Magic circuits pulsed green beneath her skin. Bonney's internal timeline doubled. She vanished from human perception, moving with the terrifying, stutter-step speed of a phantom. The stone spears pierced empty air. Bonney reappeared hovering above Pica. Her leg coated itself in black Armament Haki.
Rankyaku. Bonney swung her leg. A compressed blade of air shot downward. It didn't just cut the stone spears. It cleaved the entire plaza in half. A trench a hundred feet deep opened in the street.
Pica widened his eyes. He merged into the stone right before the air blade struck him.
"He ran away!" Chopper laughed, landing lightly on a rooftop. "Did you hear him yell? He sounded like a whistle!"
The ground rumbled. The buildings shook.
"You insolent brats!" Pica's voice echoed from the walls around them. "I am a top executive of the Donquixote Family! Octopus Stone!"
The cobblestones of the plaza melted into liquid rock, surging upward to form eight massive, thrashing stone tentacles. They whipped through the air, smashing into the buildings and lunging at the pirates from every conceivable blind spot.
"Whoa! He's getting mad!" Chopper yelled, giggling. He didn't evade. Chopper planted his hooves on the roof. "Tekkai: Iron Hoof!"
The stone tentacles slammed directly into Chopper. Instead of crushing him, the immense force shattered the rock upon impact. Chopper flexed, shattering the remaining rubble, then kicked off the air, dive-bombing the remaining tentacles with a flurry of Haki-infused punches.
Below, three tentacles converged to crush Bonney simultaneously.
Bonney didn't move. She opened her eyes. They glowed with an eerie, rainbow-colored iridescence.
"Mystic Eyes of Retrospection," Bonney commanded.
She looked at the incoming stone limbs. She applied her age-manipulation Devil Fruit concept through Nasuverse magic. She didn't accelerate the stone's age; she reversed it. She reverted the sculpted, hardened stone back to its original conceptual state—dust and loose sediment.
The massive stone tentacles disintegrated in mid-air. Thousands of tons of rock turned into harmless, blinding sand and blew away in the wind.
"Is that all you've got, squeaky?!" Bonney yelled into the dust cloud.
The entire town shifted in response. The cobblestones, the buildings, the walls—everything pulled toward the center of the island. Pica assimilated the stone. He grew.
A colossal stone golem rose above Dressrosa. It shadowed the sun. It stood taller than the mountains. Pica's face formed on the golem's head.
"Tremble!" Pica squeaked from the sky, his voice echoing across the island. "Behold my true power! Bite of the Earth Dragon!"
The golem's chest split open, and a massive, dragon-shaped head made of jagged granite lunged forward, its jaws wide enough to swallow a Navy warship.
Bonney slapped her knee. "I can't! I can't breathe! He's the size of a mountain and he still sounds like a baby bird!"
Chopper fell off the roof, laughing hysterically. He bounced off an awning and landed on his feet. He wiped a tear from his eye. "My turn."
Chopper raised his hooves. He didn't use a Rumble Ball. He didn't need one anymore. Chopper channeled his prana.
"Prana Burst: Beast," Chopper muttered.
Red magical energy erupted around Chopper like a raging bonfire. He kicked off the ground using Soru, leaving a crater behind. He shot upward like a red missile, meeting the falling stone dragon head-on.
Chopper threw a punch.
The impact triggered a sonic boom. Chopper's raw physical strength, multiplied by the Super Soldier serum, Haki, and explosive prana, shattered the construct instantly. The mountain-sized dragon head exploded into millions of pebbles. The shockwave parted the clouds above Dressrosa.
Pica gasped inside the stone. What are these monsters?! he thought in panic. They aren't even trying!
He frantically shifted through the golem, forming hundreds of stone spikes that rained down like missiles.
Two blue streaks cut across the sky.
Twin sonic booms echoed above the plaza. Merry and Sunny descended, hover-straps strapped to their boots and nanite jetpacks bolted to their backs.
"Auntie Bonney! Uncle Chopper!" Sunny cheered. "We saw the giant rock man!"
"Robin let you come here?" Chopper asked, dodging a boulder.
"She said to be careful," Merry smiled, adjusting her goggles. "Do you need help?"
"Yeah," Bonney smirked, kicking a stone spike into dust. "This guy is hiding inside his own giant statue. He keeps swimming away before we can hit his real body. Can you track him and keep him in one place?"
"Easy," Sunny grinned. The arc reactor in his chest glowed.
Sunny tapped his temple. A holographic visor slid over his eyes. "Activating thermal resonance and seismic tracking. Scanning the golem."
Merry pulled a small tablet from her overalls. She linked it to Sunny's feed. Her mechanical eyes whirred.
Above them, Pica formed a new head. "More brats?! I will crush you all!"
"He's in the left shoulder!" Sunny yelled, pointing. "Moving down toward the chest!"
"We won't let him hide!" Merry declared. "Deploying Micro-Munitions!"
Dozens of tiny hatches opened on Merry's shoulders. A swarm of miniature, smart missiles launched into the air, drawing white contrails across the sky. They slammed into the golem's chest, detonating in a massive chain of explosions that blew away thousands of tons of rock armor.
"He's shifting to the right leg!" Sunny shouted. He raised both palms. "Repulsor Blast!"
ZAAAP! A concentrated beam of blinding blue arc energy melted straight through the golem's right knee, turning the stone into glowing, molten slag. Pica let out a panicked squeak as the intense heat forced him to retreat back upward.
"Got the trajectory," Merry calculated rapidly. "We've destroyed his pathways to the limbs. He's trapped in the central thorax block! He's trying to dive deeper into the island's bedrock!"
"Not today, squeaky," Bonney grinned fiercely.
"Time Alter: Square Accel!"
Bonney's body blurred into a static image. The world around her ground to an absolute halt. She launched herself off the ground, rocketing toward the golem's exposed, blasted chest. She coated both of her hands in highly advanced Armament Haki—the flowing Ryou technique she had learned from Zoro and Ben.
She didn't punch the stone. She plunged her hands directly into it. The flowing Haki acted as a barrier, letting her reach right through the granite like it was soft clay. Her fingers closed around spiked armor.
Time resumed with a violent snap.
"Found you!" Bonney roared.
Pica's eyes widened in horror inside his stone sanctuary. Bonney ripped her arms backward.
With a sound like an exploding mountain, Bonney violently extracted Pica's real body, dragging him completely out of the stone assimilation and throwing him into the open air above the plaza.
"He's out!" Merry cheered.
"All yours, Chopper!" Bonney yelled, backflipping away from the crumbling golem.
Pica scrambled in mid-air. He was completely exposed. Panic seized his features. He instantly coated his entire, massive body in pitch-black Armament Haki. He hardened every muscle, turning himself into a falling cannonball.
"I am an elite officer!" Pica squeaked frantically. "My Haki is invincible!"
Chopper stood in the center of the ruined plaza. He looked up at the falling executive. He didn't laugh this time. His blue nose twitched, and his eyes locked onto his target with predatory focus.
Chopper crouched low. He pulled his right arm back. Every ounce of his prana, his Super Soldier strength, and his own Haki condensed into his right hoof. The air around his fist distorted, glowing with an intense, burning red aura that took the shape of a massive, blooming cherry blossom.
"Let's test that," Chopper said quietly.
Chopper kicked off the ground with so much force that the entire street beneath him caved in. He met Pica exactly halfway in the sky.
"Prana Burst Beast..."
Chopper unleashed the punch.
"...Kokutei Supernova!"
The impact was deafening. Chopper's hoof struck dead center on Pica's Haki-coated chest. For a fraction of a second, the two forces clashed. Then, Pica's "invincible" Armament Haki shattered like cheap glass.
The concentrated magical energy released in a massive, red-and-white shockwave that illuminated the entire sky. A massive imprint of a reindeer's hoof was blasted entirely through the clouds above.
Pica's eyes rolled completely back into his head. He coughed up blood, his squeaky scream silenced instantly as he plummeted back to the earth like a meteor. He crashed into the center of the cobblestone plaza, creating a crater fifty feet wide.
He didn't move. He was completely unconscious.
The remaining mountain-sized stone constructs, now devoid of Pica's control, crumbled into harmless, normal rubble around them.
Chopper landed softly next to the crater. He exhaled a breath of steam, the red prana fading from his body.
Bonney landed next to him, walking over to the edge of the pit. Sunny and Merry hovered down, landing lightly on the debris.
They all looked at the broken, massive executive.
"He put up a good fight," Chopper said respectfully, adjusting his hat.
Bonney stared at Pica's twitching form. "...Squeak."
Chopper bit his lip. He snorted.
Seconds later, the doctor, the glutton, and the two androids were rolling on the ground, laughing until their stomachs hurt.
