Chapter 1126: Chapter 1122: The Show Begins! (Part 2)
Igor felt that his makeup could be considered very simple! But when he turned his head, he realized that Kadi’s makeup was truly simple.
Kadi had only painted a big smile on his face, nothing else.
"Your makeup..." Igor wanted to praise something, but couldn’t remember what at the moment.
"What’s wrong, isn’t it good?" Kadi asked in confusion.
"No, no, it’s great, really great." Igor said sincerely, because he had been worried about Kadi, but now he realized he had been overthinking.
Kadi not only was not afraid to do makeup because of the mask, but actually used makeup to take off the mask directly.
Indeed, for Kadi, playing a clown was much simpler than playing a wandering bard, because Kadi had a natural advantage.
Kadi’s face with blue skin looked just like it was covered in greasepaint, spread perfectly evenly without a flaw. Even his eye was naturally a masterpiece of makeup...
Igor couldn’t help but wonder why he didn’t think of these things, why Kadi could effortlessly resolve the crisis at hand, what was the logic...
Seeing Igor’s dark circles, Kadi chuckled, "Haha, your makeup really is simple, it’s impressive you came up with it."
"Well... compared to yours, there’s still a gap." Igor thought, you’re comparing with someone who has a natural advantage.
Kadi chuckled, "Hehe, I just had a sudden inspiration, but putting on makeup is much more comfortable than wearing a mask..."
Before Kadi could finish speaking, the clown named Brava walked over. He looked at Igor’s makeup and nodded, "Not bad, though simple, it’s still quite striking."
Igor chuckled awkwardly, still hesitant to speak much, fearing he might once again scare the clown.
"Your blue paint is well done, and you paid attention to detail, even applied it to your hands, truly meticulous. The makeup on your eye is also a stroke of genius. This makeup will surely attract many people, you’re remarkable!"
Upon hearing Brava’s praise for Kadi, Igor almost burst out laughing, knowing that this was Kadi’s natural appearance, no makeup at all, yet this guy mistook Kadi’s natural look for makeup, it’s hilarious.
"Alright, alright, it’s time to act. We are clowns, the vanguard of the Circus. As soon as their performance starts, we need to be ready for our show!" Brava started gesturing energetically, the complete opposite of the scared person he was earlier...
"Huh, why aren’t you talking?"
"Can we... talk?" Igor asked cautiously, clearly remembering what this guy had said previously.
"Of course you can talk, otherwise you would be mute!" Brava the clown said.
"Okay, it seems your Circus is really a strange place, everyone has two faces!" Igor muttered quietly.
"What did you say?" The clown frowned at Igor, the paint on his face shifting with the expression.
"He said he’s honored to join this Circus!" Kadi quickly covered for Igor, clearly aware that Igor’s mumbling had been overheard by the clown.
"You integrate more quickly, this guy, looks like he needs a good lesson!" Brava the clown said fiercely, looking at Igor.
This time Igor learned his lesson, he no longer said anything unnecessary, realizing he was constantly causing trouble.
"Alright, put your luggage down and come perform with me. The official show is about to start, we, as the vanguard, need to warm up the crowd for the star members."
"Okay, we’ll join soon!" Kadi quickly responded, glancing at Igor, then walked into the tent.
"Should we put the stuff down?" Igor asked Kadi quietly, clearly not wanting to be seen again by the clown named Brava.
"Of course we can’t put them down, this Circus is a bit odd, everyone has two faces, looks extremely fishy." Kadi also replied softly to Igor.
What they were referring to were the Meteor and Butterfly, things they always carried with them, which looked awkward to anyone.
Putting them down meant abandoning their weapons, which Igor and Kadi were reluctant to do, but they couldn’t use the Concealment Spell to hide them, unable to carry them out.
These two weapons had become their headache.
"We need to come up with a solution quickly, or else the clown will be coming in!" Igor reminded Kadi.
"True, but I don’t have any good methods to hide the Butterfly right now. Do you have a way to hide your Meteor?"
"Uh..." Igor was speechless, for he had no solution either.
"What should we do?" Kadi asked.
"I..." Igor scratched his head, unsure what to do!
"Don’t you have the Basic Spirit Book, why don’t you ask them." Kadi reminded.
Igor patted his forehead, suddenly remembering he had several Spirit Books.
So he quickly took out one of them.
At this critical moment, the Spirit Book was straightforward, generously telling Igor how to hide a weapon.
The method was naturally related to the Concealment Spell, just more complex, requiring more Spirit Power.
"Are you done yet!" Outside, the clown Brava shouted, clearly a bit impatient with Igor and Kadi staying inside the tent.
"Soon, soon!" Kadi quickly replied, then ran out, and Igor followed suit.
"Hmm, not bad, going lightly, the effect will be better." Brava the clown said.
"What are we going to do now?" Igor asked curiously.
"We’re going to perform. What does a clown’s performance entail? Naturally to grab attention, make people laugh!" Brava said sternly.
"Oh, then how should we do it?" Kadi also asked promptly, since they’d just joined the Circus and were about to start performing, this surely was a peculiar situation.
"Just follow me, you two are the newbies among the clowns, the rest are experienced, they don’t need my guidance." Brava said, seemingly giving special attention to Igor and Kadi.
