Chapter 1063: Chapter 1061: In Two Years
Igor and Kadi descended the mountain in the sunlight just like that. Igor had many places he wanted to go, but Kadi wasn’t as complicated as Igor; he felt anywhere was an adventure for him. Igor originally hoped Kadi would help him decide where to go, but Kadi replied with a casual suggestion, which truly gave Igor a headache.
Kadi said Igor should just decide directly, but Igor knew he had decision-making paralysis and couldn’t figure out where he wanted to go...
This really gave Igor a headache for quite a while.
"How did you decide before?" Kadi asked.
"Before, I always let the branches decide."
"Well then, leave it to the branches this time."
So Igor drew a circle on the ground and around this circle, he wrote down Circus, Marginalist, and Resistor. These three words divided the circle into three areas, and finally, Igor placed a branch at the center of this circle, with one end having leaves and the other end without.
Whichever direction the end with leaves points to, that’s where we’ll go. Igor said to Kadi. Kadi was very interested in this ritual, his eyes glowed watching the whole process...
Igor spun the branch, and the branch rotated between the circle, before long it paused within an area.
"Circus!" Kadi exclaimed, although he didn’t know what it meant, he was thrilled by witnessing the process.
"Alright, let’s go look for this Circus organization." Igor shrugged, he found it easier to leave decisions to the branches.
"Yay, let’s find the circus." Kadi leapt high with joy; he could finally go down the mountain to take a look, a dream he longed for now coming true. Naturally, he was extremely excited.
Speaking of which, Circus as an organization only emerged in the last couple of years. Igor got all his information on the subject from Luona, Perkins, and the Sol Brothers.
During his special training on the mountain, he hadn’t forgotten to communicate with those below it; he would mostly share and discuss events happening below with the Great Mentor.
In these two years, the entire world experienced drastic changes.
During these two years, the rule of Wensi Empire changed hands again among the Three Great Empires. The Vero people took back control of the continent from the Tree Spirit’s hands. Under the Tree Spirit’s rule for two years, Vero Realm recuperated, during which the sinister Veros never invaded Kayne Realm, but now this brief peace was about to end. Queen Wensi’s first move was to expand her territory; they had lived enough on the water, constant conflict with the Water Spirit always made the Veros covet the vast lands of Kayne Realm and Ghost Realm. With a grand gesture, Queen Wensi dispatched the Veros’ fleet. At Geljom Harbor, the Veros’ fleet clashed fiercely with Kayne Empire’s iron army, and control over the disputed Geljom fell again to Queen Wensi. This enraged King Kayne, who is now gathering the Alchemy Workshop to launch a counterattack against the Vero fleet.
In these two years, the Alchemy Workshop’s status changed significantly; it was previously merely a group for Adventurers with Class, now grown so much that it has become an unstoppable force in Kayne Country.
This change in the Alchemy Workshop began from their past competition with the Dark Cabinet.
Some say the Alchemy Workshop ultimately acquired the hidden power of Guru Mountain; their strength grew so formidable due to their connection to a power transcending life and death.
In these two years, the Alchemy Workshop quietly won the competition against the Dark Cabinet; the entirety of the Black Crow was besieged by the Alchemy Workshop, not even a feather remained, while the Dark Cabinet suffered greatly due to the conflict with the Alchemy Workshop. The Dark Cabinet’s Cabinet masters suffered the loss of four out of ten, almost shaking the foundation of the entire Dark Cabinet, whereas the Alchemy Workshop grew increasingly powerful, directly transcending the level of Adventurers with Class organizations, reaching alarmingly new heights.
Unbeknownst to anyone, the Alchemy Workshop established its own intelligence agency, and every step the Alchemy Workshop took seemed meticulously planned, as if a Politician, seemingly born into politics, was plotting everything for them.
Every move from the Alchemy Workshop seemed seamless.
Their siege against Black Crow was swifter than the Dark Cabinet, and the costs paid were far less than those of the Dark Cabinet.
These Alchemists seemed to possess a new combat technique that didn’t require them to fight physically; they directly used Exchange Beasts to battle instead. These Exchange Beasts came with many Spirit Power techniques. These Exchange Beasts caused significant harm to the Dark Cabinet’s masters due to overconfidence, slowing the Dark Cabinet’s pace in dealing with Black Crow, losing the initiative as a result.
During this period, the Alchemy Workshop launched large-scale attacks while recruiting numerous organizations, great and small. This expansion amazed everyone.
The leader of Black Crow, Willem, ultimately disappeared without a trace, and the entire Black Crow fell apart.
The collapse of Black Crow firmly established the Alchemy Workshop’s position on the continent; they now became the most dominant force on the continent, and other organizations had to unite to rival them.
Significant internal changes occurred within the Alchemy Workshop as well; those elders, a bunch of aging Alchemists, were entirely pushed off the Golden Seats by chief Kuyi Tulan. This unexpected change placed the entire Alchemy Workshop in the hands of Kuyi Tulan.
Besides the Alchemy Workshop, various other organizations experienced many changes over these two years, the most significant being the transformations among Non-professionals.
The Alchemy Workshop suddenly began recruiting Non-professionals, who played unexpectedly vital roles.
Some became part of the Alchemy Workshop’s intelligence agency, while others became part of their combat force.
This combat force became a subject of study for outsiders regarding the Alchemy Workshop.
Many believe the Alchemy Workshop harnessed the power acquired by Black Crow, which led to their immense growth, enabling Non-professionals to become a battle force as well.
However, these are mere speculations, for the true reasons are only known to the Alchemy Workshop.
The development of the Alchemy Workshop over these two years can be described as transforming the world, and their evolution instigated global changes.
Every move of the Alchemy Workshop stirred all major organizations and even those Non-professionals longed for the Alchemists who would come to their territories, hoping for a fresh start.
