Chapter 2956: The Ruins of Etna V
Lyaeus could be seen in extreme anger as he was just attacked so suddenly without any warning. If he did not tilt his body reflexively earlier then it would have been his head rolling off. The neck part is the most vulnerable part of the player body and is considered the easiest to hit off guard. This is the reason why assassin players can kill other players in one or two attacks because they always aim for the vital points.
Eldritch wanted to have Lyaeus’ head cut off there but he is slightly impressed that the latter actually dodged that attack. It was one of the attacks that he honed and wanted to use on the people that he wants revenge after. He also honed it to a high degree to create an attack that could kill out the weeds of this game as he called it.
"Calm yourself, Lyaeus. This is Eldritch we are talking about. We do not know what kind of sorcery he used in this area." Diane, the Champion of Artemis, stated as she knows that letting anger get to him is one of Eldritch’ tactics.
"Why are you really here, Eldritch?" Diane, the Champion of Artemis, stated but her hand was so quick that an arrow has already let loose from her bow.
The arrow made from moonlight managed to pierce halfway through the barrier that protected Eldritch. Diane made a face filled with slight irritation before letting lose a barrage of arrows towards Eldritch. She already knew that this psycho will not let them be which is why he has yet to say what he really intends to do.
"Haha! Hypocrites!" Eldritch stated as he already casted a spell that released organic tendrils towards the four Champions of Olympus.
"As if you would let us pass through! Melaina!" Diane, the Champion of Artemis, stated as the power of the four seasons revolved around Melaina, the Champion of Demeter.
Ice shards manifested and launched towards the tendrils to freeze them in place. The tendrils were slightly resistant to the cold though as the frozen state did not last long. Melaina knew that Eldritch is not an easy opponent which is why she made sure to use all power of the four seasons. With the organic tendrils already weakened, Melaina used the power of autumn to wither the strength of the attack until all of the tendrils became limp.
Eldritch raised his eyebrows as this is the first time that he has encountered this mage before. He has already encountered Diane before and he did retreat because they met in a forest setting. Diane had an advantage in such a setting and he was outmatched back then as the opponent has distance but the area is different now.
Eldritch did not think that his petty little grudge from back then would be answered today which is why he did not hesitate to use some of his hidden cards. Eldritch tapped his staff and it created a distorted rift in space that unleashed two large flesh puddles that soon morphed into monsters.

"These ones are just newly made as I was researching chimeras here but this would be a good test on what can be improved." Eldritch stated as he also used numerous buffing spells to enhance the two flesh golems that he has summoned.
The Flesh Golems that Eldritch summoned are fairly new as this is just a new spell he created upon fusing some of his existing ones. He also collected materials from monsters all over to create them but the maximum he has is two. They are literally golems made of melting flesh of different beings put together with negative energy.
"Go now my ser..." Eldritch stated but he suddenly found his face near a fist.
Eldritch became a bit shocked at first but recovered once his flesh golems attacked the one that tried to punch his face. If not for the barrier that protected his body, Eldritch would have been seen flying towards the wall as Lyaeus could be seen in an extremely intoxicated state. The two flesh golems morphed their melting arms into sharp blades and reached for Lyaeus’ neck.
Lyaeus did not even bother to dodge because he is also protected by a barrier courtesy of their resident speedy healer, Nomios. A barrier that has the appearance of two wings attached to it blocked the attacks of the two flesh golems. The two flesh golems tried to use a follow up attack but Melaina has already unleashed her next spell that contained the sharp leaves with a powerful spring breeze.
The Flesh Golems instantly got cut and destroyed by Melaina’s spell and the sharp leaves actually headed for Eldritch next but the latter exploded in smoke to appear a few meters away. Lyaeus would have managed to get another attack onto Eldritch but the barrier surrounding the latter is not easy to dispel. Lyaeus might be extremely durable and difficult to kill but he does not have ways to bypass barriers which is why Alcides is still stronger than him overall.
"Let us make this quick!" Nomios stated as he flipped a coin in the air.
The coin felt like it moved in slow motion as it landed perfectly on Nomios’ thumb where he then launched it. The coin suddenly shot towards Eldritch like a rail gun as it moved at the speed of sound. Eldritch did not particularly care for an attack by a priest but he soon learned to not underestimate this one.
The coin that was sent towards him is filled with divine energy that it shattered his barrier in an instant. Eldritch did not expect a simple coin to destroy his protective cover but it happened and now the maniac that he injured was running towards him. The intoxicated Lyaeus filled with intense anger towards Eldritch sprinted towards him in such inhuman speed that he actually became serious for that split second.
