Chapter 2927: The Queen of Alfheim II
The Grand Cathedral of Life and Death stood before all of the people that gathered towards Alfheim. Even with the Barrier of Isolation in full effect and the World Tree detectin every living being, the guards of Alfheim are doing their best. The guards of Alfheim are all from different races that live in Alfheim but not all of them are a Faekin, an Elf, or an Elemental.
Ever since Neo Alfheim has been established by the Evergreen Guild, the people that live in Alfheim are very diverse. Some of them are even couples that met in Avalon but settled in Neo Alfheim for a more forest filled life. The two territories are eternal allies hence there is no problem with immigration and the Evergreen Guild welcomed it as every race has different talents and specialties that are enriching the territory.
This is the first time that such a large celebration is happening in Alfheim as the people usually only do small parties as most elves are not the party type. With the emergence of the Faekin that love to play and the Elementals that are rowdy, the dynamic of Alfheim has changed to a livelier version of the previous. The change might not different from the customs before but this is a very important celebration after all.
The First Queen of Alfheim will be coronated today and even the normal citizens dressed up for the occasion. The Lord of their territory was crowned queen by the world tree which is a big deal. She is basically crowned as the official liaison of the world tree and is the mortal representative. She even outranks the long live beings such as the Fairy King and Fairy Queen when it comes to power.
As if the entire territory is being blessed, the flowers and trees look especially lush today. The flowers even smell more fragrant than ever before as if they are celebrating as well. The foot traffic to Alfheim is also ten times more than usual which is good for the people living there as businesses will be booming.
The world tree even made sure to create some small fairy lights that slowly fall down from its leaves. The fairy lights then vanish five meters above the ground or when touched by a flying individual. It just made the entire territory more beautiful than ever which added to the excitement of the people. Contrary to the celebratory feeling outside, the one that is about to be coronated looks incredibly nervous.
"Why are you being nervous for again? We have been over this before." Mariposa stated as she could feel Anastacia shaking while they were helping her with the clothes that the world tree herself has given.
"I was talking such a big game earlier but the feeling that it is now this close suddenly hit me." Anastacia stated as she tried to regulate her breathing or else she might get ejected from the gaming pod from elevated heart rates.
"You got this and remember that we are here. We will never let you do something alone. Remember the promise that we all had when we were all living in the orphanage." Cersei stated as the three of them actually came from an orphanage in the Mediterranean area of the world.
Anastacia and Cersei were adopted by two older couples that were quite well off while Mariposa was found by her birth parents. They were all victims of human trafficking but were rescued by the law enforcers when they busted the operations of the human traffickers. Unfortunately, the three of them could only be taken to an orphanage as they were all whisked away from their real homes.
Anastacia was grabbed when she just buried her grandmother which was her last living relative. Cersei’s parents were the scum of the earth as they practically sold her to the traffickers. Mariposa got taken while they were on vacation. All of this happened when they were just five years old and they were all given to their respective families by the time they became ten years of age.
Despite the harsh reality of life that happened to them, all three of them became sisters that shared a strong bond. They needed this bond in order to stay upright and human or else they would have become people that are monsters in human skin. All of them made a promise and that is to never lose that bond as they are sisters even if they do not share the same blood.
"I am just thankful that both of you saved me that day even though your circumstances were rougher than mine." Anastacia stated as she got teary eyed from remembering their past.
"You saved us as well." Mariposa added.
"Even though you do not look happy because of your resting face, you are the most kind hearted one among us. You even cried for me that one time and it is also the most memorable day of my life. Now, stop being nervous and go out there! You earned this!" Cersei stated.
"We earned this." Anastacia stated as she held the hands of Mariposa and Cersei as they got gently wrapped with a large flower.

"Did you really had to make such a grand staircase?" Adrian asked as the stairs leading to the large door of the Grand Cathedral is a hundred meters long.
At the very top of the ladder is an open space where the likenesses of the Twin Gods are made using vines and roots tangled up together. After that is another set of smaller stairs that is about ten meters that will finally make you reach the Grand Cathedral gateway. The size of the Grand Catedral is about the size of one of Avalon’s islands.
"Bigger is better. Also, I am glad to make it this big because the number of gods of life and death that wanted a vine figure of them are too many. If it was not this big then nothing would have fit." Levin Cloud stated as he is wearing his official ceremonial clothes to represent himself as the Mediator of Life.
Levin Cloud would have used his ceremonial garb as the Envoy of the Twin Gods but the Gods and Goddesses of Life stopped him and then gave him what he is wearing now. His clothes are made from woven gold, silver, and emerald threads. The adornments on it have the symbols of the gods and goddesses of life. It had this simple yet dignified look and it elevated his form upon wearing it.
The same is also true for Adrian that would have just wore the ceremonial armor for the Champion of the Twin Gods. He was dragged to the underworld by the goddesses of death as they wove something for him to wear. The Gods of Death tried to add some of their unique aesthetic choices but they were hissed at by the Goddesses of Death.
Knowing that they will get the wrath of the Goddesses of Death if they say anything, the Gods of Death just observed and gave refreshments to the hardworking goddesses weaving what Adrian is wearing. In fact, he looked so handsome that he even put the elves and Faekin to shame as the latter are known for being beautiful people.
Adrian wore colors of black, purple, and silver while being adorned by precious jewels that came directly from Hades’ treasury which he would not miss since he has a lot of them. The threads used by Adrian’s clothes came directly from the Netherworld Arachne which is a monster living there. The Netherworld Arachne makes threads from the precious metals and rocks it devours.
He has a black underlayer with a silver mesh over all while having hints of purple that pop up in stylistic areas. He looked like a dignified royal priest from his appearance as he also exuded this noble air. If there is a contest of how expensive one is wearing then Adrian’s clothes will win it hands down.
What he is wearing is basically made from threads of orichalcum, Abyssite, and cocytite. The silver looking thread is none other than orichalcum woven into it. The black thread is Abyssite which is such a rare precious ore in the underworld. The purple thread is cocytite which is a precious metal that can only be taken from the Cocytus River.
Adrian’s look is not over the top as it is elegant and simple but the face and body also make the clothes. In fact, the Avalon guild members did not recognize their guild leader when he was walking. The only one that recognized him was Frey and she was a blushing mess when she saw Adrian. Suffice to say, the fan club members that Adrian has is eating good as pictures of him in his current fit started circulating the web.
"The Coronation shall now begin!" The voice of the world tree stated as her Avatar manifested at the top part of the podium where Adrian and Levin Cloud are.
