Chapter 516: The Night Rakshasha!

An entourage of 5 military-grade warships accompanied the leader of the Sebastian Warriors Army as they engaged in a deep-sea expedition.
Like usual, Sebastian’s main Megalodon body was busy with the more administrative duties of his army as alongside his capable warrior, Captain Omega, they strived to devise ways to make the army grow faster.
In the last 3 months, the Sebastian Warriors Army already expanded madly under the subtle influence and help of Big Daddy, the Thresher Whale.
After his last battle with Trinidad where Trinidad won, Big Daddy finally seemed to let go of that last bit of ego that was holding him down as he experienced a huge personality change on the go.
Now, his subtle influence was the best help that the Sebastian Warriors Army could ever ask for. Now, the army was already a powerhouse of the Nightmare Forest with Sebastian as the leader.
Though they had no Red tier predator yet in their ranks, with powerhouses like Sebastian and Captain Omega, they had the qualifications to rise to power.
The army now had a lineup of warships that were already rising towards a few dozens, with almost 10 times more military-grade shuttles.
With time, the Sebastian Warriors Army learned that plundering was the best way to amass wealth as this was what spearheaded their rapid growth.
Apart from their warships, the army already recruited such a large amount of orange tier and purple tier predators that it was saturated with warriors.
The army already built 3 more main military bases this time, while building a few military outposts at the same time to spread their reach.
The tentacles of the Sebastian Warriors Army were slowly already spreading towards the different corners of the Nightmare Forest.
Everyone was hard at work as they knew that even this present chaotic time was just the beginning. With time, the world would turn so chaotic again that these current chaotic times would be seen as a period of calm.
This was why they worked so hard but just yesterday, the leader halted all activities before taking 5 warships out on a deep-sea expedition.
Due to having a parasitic relationship with his doppelgangers, Sebastian had an idea about what each of them was doing and therefore knew of the dangerous situation that his Leviathon doppelganger just found itself in.
At first, Sebastian only paid little attention to it but he was finally alarmed when he discovered that the Domain World suppressed his soul and could deal damage to his living doppelganger that would affect all his bodies.
Sebastian could afford to lose a living doppelganger, but he could not afford to die which was the reason why he organized a deep-strike team immediately.
A few hours after they embarked on this journey, they finally arrived at their destination, the location of the entrance to the inheritance ground.
To Sebastian’s shock though, on getting here, the entrance was nowhere to be found. He searched and searched for over a dozen minutes but came out unfruitful, he was left disappointed and alarmed.
After trying every means available to him and still not getting any heads, Sebastian finally arrived at a theory.
He guessed that since the inheritance ground was inside the legendary magic gadget, the Tower of Sukkot, then there was a high chance that after getting the ultimate inheritor that it needed, the tower’s A. I simply closed the entrance.
Once he guessed this, Sebastian was both relieved and disappointed. He tried a few more times to see if he could crack the puzzle.
It was during this puzzle-cracking session that Sebastian suddenly shuddered. All of a sudden, he felt like he was targeted by a much more powerful predator and it left him sweating bullets.
"What the heck was that?"
Sebastian was spooked, the sensation of danger that he just felt was so real that he just couldn’t stay in one place.
Analyzing from the experience that he already got from staying over a year in Oceania, Sebastian knew that he was just alerted by his intuition over either an incoming danger or a danger that was already here.
Sebastian did not dare to linger. "Let’s move!"
All 5 warships obeyed the orders of the leader as they turned to move away. As the 5 warships rapidly escaped, only Captain Omega looked back into the distance as he seemed to recall a familiar experience.
"Is that what I think it is?" This Captain’s face turned grave.
Going at full speed, it did not take long before the 5 warships left the region where the inheritance ground was but just a few minutes later, the sensors of the warships detected an abnormal phenomenon.
All of a sudden, black mist filled the top of a seamount, obscuring vision and scrambling a lot of senses as a shadowy figure seemed to descend from the void like the wind before infiltrating this seamount.
This shadowy figure took advantage of the black mist as he moved like an assassin, entering and starting a massacre in this already dying seamount.
In just a minute, blood was already flowing in the seamount as countless beasts lost their heads. Another 2 minutes later, the black mist disappeared with the shadowy figure, leaving a seamount full of headless corpses.
Sebastian was spooked as a lot of questions filled his mind. What was that? Was that the existence that caused him to feel like he was being targeted by a more powerful predator? Did he just run straight into its trap?
While he thought and as his tension rose, Captain Omega spoke through the comm to calm his leader’s mind. "Army Commander, I know that beast".
"I have met it once; it is known as the Night Rakshasha and it is one of those rare races of beasts who can unlock and wield 2 magic domains".
"They are rumored to have an affinity for sound and shadow magic".
"Though Night Rakshashas are not Space Beasts, they are also an exotic race of beasts like the Mana Lords and Pugilist Kings though with a few glaring shortcomings like only being able to move and fight at their best at night".
"From my observations, that Night Rakshasha is still just at the purple tier realm. Do you want to go after it?"
From the deductions of his captain, this Night Rakshasha was not what caused him to feel so threatened. Once Sebastian removed that concern from his mind, he relaxed as he finally could admire the flair of this beast.
The black mist and the shadowy assassin manner in which this Night Rakshasha killed appealed to Sebastian in a way that he could not explain.
After Captain Omega explained to him, he became even more interested in knowing more about this beast.
Sebastian had not forgotten that he still had one slot for another living doppelganger, and he had been finding the perfect candidate since.
Perhaps, this Night Rakshasha was the one. While trying to contact Eliana to get her help in browsing more information about Night Rakshashas, Sebastian gave his order for the warships to go after the escaping beast.
They obeyed unconditionally as the 5 warships immediately went in pursuit.
While Sebastian and his warriors pursued the Night Rakshasha, back in the location of the inheritance ground, a highly optimized and customized Annihilator warship on steal arrived silently.
