Chapter 510: 3 Months Later.
"..."
Sebastian was left completely speechless after his battle with the shameless Eel, and the predators who while escaping had the privilege of seeing the procedures of the battle were all flabbergasted.
Sebastian’s battle record since arriving in the Blood Wreckage was astonishing, but this was his crystallizing battle encounter.
All his previous battle encounters were mostly against an army of purple tier and orange tier predators, though his performance in these battles was intimidating, it didn’t strike as much as when he fought against the Eel.
After going against the mighty Eel and not only surviving but forcing out the shameless personality of this Eel that enabled him to climb the ranks to the Red tier realm, Sebastian introduced himself in this region.
After this battle, Sebastian fully established himself as a new powerhouse of this rib part of the Blood Wreckage.
The battle against the giant shameless Eel taught him a lot of things.
He was able to learn one of the ways to survive in the Blood Wreckage, he learned a whole lot of other things but one that made the most significance to him was what he learned about his body.
Even though this Eel was weaker than the Red tier predator that he killed during his master’s test, Sebastian was unable to kill it, only fighting it to a stalemate which enabled the Eel to escape from his grasp.
Though Sebastian regretted this fact a lot, he was able to accept it since he knew what caused it. He didn’t kill the Eel because he still wasn’t 100% accustomed to his Leviathon body and the power that it wielded.
Though he already learned all the important points of being a Leviathon that his master thought, that was just surface absorption, Sebastian didn’t completely comprehend everything for it to become an instinct yet.
Like his master said, for a normal Leviathon, becoming completely familiar and used to the points learned so that they could become instincts usually took decades which was a long time.
Though Sebastian believed that he could achieve the same in a much shorter time, he still had to be realistic that it would take some time.
Sebastian took this challenge with much gusto. Throughout his battle against the opportunistic predators which eventually led to the clash against the shameless Eel, Sebastian never once had a reaction from his magic manifestations.
Perhaps it was because of his performance in this battle but unlike what he expected, no predator or scavenger group dared to mess with his Diran subordinates, they were all intimidated already.
Before leaving the battlefield, Sebastian took some of the more quality meat among the predators that died to him before keeping them in his inventory for his subordinates who were out there working for him.
[You have activated skill: Mega Dash!]
[You have activated skill: Combined Super Sensing!]
While he dashed back to where his subordinates worked, Sebastian activated his sensing skills as they enabled him to scourge the surrounding wreckage for any useful treasure.
Coming to this large territory full of battle spoils, Sebastian didn’t intend to leave all the work to his subordinates, he intended to join in on the salvaging also.
Though Dirans were the undisputed kings when it came to scavenging for treasures, Sebastian also believed that they had their limitations also because of their lack of powerful magic sensing ability.
From experience, Sebastian knew that there were some powerful magic weapons and gadgets that could only be detected by detecting their magic presence, this was the reason why he did it himself.
As a Mana Lord evolution route Leviathon, anything mana related, most especially mana sensing was one of his more proficient abilities, and with Goldie’s help, this became a lot easier.
Though Sebastian hoped to help his army grow faster and stronger through the treasures hidden here, he also hoped to get a suitable set of magic weapons and gadgets for his ultimate war vessel.
When Sebastian returned, the Dirans under the leadership of Quintillion were still hard at work scavenging through the massive wreckage.
By now, they already discovered a few low-tier magic weapons and gadgets. They were slowly making progress in the job that they were assigned.
Seeing them at work, Sebastian found a corner to hover quietly and recover from the injuries and stress of the previous battle. While he rested, he was already planning his next conquest strategy in the Blood Wreckage.
The next day, after arranging another meticulous water transmutations defensive set-up for his subordinates, Sebastian left again.
Once again, the predators and different scavenger groups of this part of the Blood Wreckage were exposed to this war-mongering Leviathon.
From then, every day, Sebastian either went out to engage in lightning-fast raids on some scavenger groups, interrupted beast battles to get all the experience for himself, or intercepted some Red tier predators to engage in spars.
Despite the increasing difficulty of leveling up the more, he grew, and the fact that alone, he couldn’t comfortably kill Red tier predators yet which shackled him a lot in the leveling part of his life, he still grew comfortably.
This way, time passed quickly and it was already 3 months since Sebastian arrived in the Blood Wreckage with his group of a few dozen Diran subordinates.
By now, he already developed a dreadful reputation in all the regions of the Blood Wreckage where he passed through for his adventures.
During this time, apart from amassing a horrifying amount of battle experience in this region, Sebastian managed to level up 4 times to become level 36, and he gave Goldie the best adventure tour that he could ever ask for.
Sebastian’s familiarity with his body at this point was so impeccable already that his intuition told him that he just needed just one step to fully master it.
When he fully mastered it, that was when he would be able to use his Leviathon body to the fullest, making use of 100% of his body’s potential.
Apart from those normal achievements, Sebastian alongside his subordinates already scavenged a few powerful magic gadgets and weapons but none of these were suitable to be used by a Leviathon.
This was only normal since the battle that resulted in this wreckage was between Orcas and Death Dragons, and none of them were related to leviathans.
Though he experienced a significant amount of growth in the past 3 months, Sebastian still felt that he was not fast enough, he now had less than 2 years to get to the pinnacle of this world and he was still a purple tier predator.
This speed could not make the cut and was the reason why Sebastian started searching for alternative means to grow and level up faster.
By now, he already spent over a year in Oceania, he could not take things slow anymore and needed to keep speeding things up like a professional car racer.
His efforts were not wasted as after putting in a lot of effort and searching for another week, Sebastian discovered something unexpected in another region of the Blood Wreckage.
Sebastian led by his intuition discovered the location of an inheritance ground left by a Leviathon.
From the sensations that he felt from unexpectedly discovering this inheritance ground, Sebastian guessed that it was left by a Black tier Leviathon.
He finally hit the jackpot!
