Chapter 465: The Ancestor’s Pool.

The ancestor’s ground of the Great White Kingdom was located at the very center of the seamount where the kingdom was erected.

Kilometers around this center were vacant as the sharks did not build any settlements close to this place. At the center was just the magnificently built massive dome-shaped building that was called the ancestor’s grounds.

Before they were allowed entry inside the sturdy dome-shaped building, the patriarch had to do an identity test to verify that he was who he called himself. This just went to show how much effort was invested in the security of this ground.

After the security checks and after the patriarch’s identity was verified by the A.I, he and his son were finally allowed entry.

There were no decorations inside the ancestor’s ground. Inside the dome-shaped building was just a vacant world with no furniture, no special embellishments, nothing but just vacant space.

The huge amount of space in this dome-shaped structure felt like it was wasted, at least to Sebastian, it felt like this.

On noticing this, the patriarch laughed. "Young Sebastian, serenity and purity are needed in the ancestor’s ground to leave the ancestor’s pool pure".

As they swam deeper towards a corner of the dome-shaped building while his father explained more about the ancestor’s ground, the ancestor’s pool, and their significance to him, the more Sebastian felt guilty about something.

It took them about 6 minutes of swimming before they arrived at a dark staircase that stood as a glaring contrast to the other bright parts of the building.

On getting here, the patriarch of the Great White Kingdom finally stopped swimming. He turned his head slightly and directed a kind encouraging smile at his newest son. "Go for it, Sebastian!"

"Dad, I want to tell you something". Sebastian suddenly blurted out.

"What do you want to tell me?"

"Dad, I’m not like your other children, I don’t know how to put this but I’m different from them all. It may sound like boasting but I’m special, I’m..."

"I know". The patriarch smiled.

"You know?"

"Yes, all my children are special but from the first time that I met you, I knew that you were the most special of them all and I’m not joking".

"Do you know what makes me special?"

"I don’t need to know, all that matters is that you’re special. Just go inside the ancestor’s pool, you’ll understand more about what I mean".

"Ok, Dad".

For some reason, after that short conversation, a huge load seemed to have left Sebastian’s mind as he became a lot more relaxed. For the first time, he finally started anticipating what the ancestor’s pool really felt like.

Before leaving though, he remembered something.

"Dad, you said that I have siblings, how many are they?"

"Oh, I almost forgot to tell you". The huge patriarch feigned face slapping. "Of course, you have over a thousand siblings..."

"..."

"Of the ones who returned like you, there are 134 of them including you. 128 of them are purple tier predators, while the remaining 6 are Red tier predators".

"..." Now, Sebastian was flabbergasted.

"Thanks, I think I’ll go in".

With that, Sebastian’s passive swim skill triggered as he didn’t wait for a reply from his dad before plunging into the dark world underneath the staircase.

Once Sebastian dove in everywhere was dark at first but once the lights from the main building were cut off, he discovered that here was not as dark as he thought. Staying in here was like viewing a night sky filled with stars.

He was inside what felt like a square-shaped pool, a big one, and tiny floating star-like particles glowed at this moment, illuminating the pool slightly.

This enabled Sebastian to see a lot more than he expected.

The pool was fairly generic, like any other pool and this allowed him to quickly locate where the ancestor’s pool part of this pool was.

When he first saw it, Sebastian’s heart almost leaped out through his throat.

The ancestor’s pool was a pool of blood, and it was shaped like the bloody rows of teeth of a Megalodon. This was how Sebastian’s teeth were when he ate his prey, but seeing this depicted so vividly before him shocked him.

Without even needing someone to tell him, Sebastian knew that this was what his dad described to him, this was the ancestor’s pool.

Though the pool felt spookily gory, he had seen more gory things since transmigrating into this world. Sebastian did not waste time; he took a deep breath before plunging into the deep of the pool.

Once he swam inside it, his perception and senses became blocked completely. Sebastian felt like he was locked inside a tight box where he had no choice but to remain choked up and suffocate.

Because of his blocked senses, he had no idea about what was happening to him at this moment, all he felt was as if something was invading his body.

Outside Sebastian’s point of view, once he plunged inside it, the blood pool quickly sped up, turning into what seemed like a vortex in the middle of the sea.

While the water sped up, Sebastian was held in place at the very center of the blood pool by some invisible forces of attraction.

This presented him as a stationary target for the blood in the pool to invade. The blood invasion started slowly at first, but it soon became faster and faster until Sebastian started feeling like a thousand needles were drilling into his skin.

Sebastian gritted his teeth for some time before roaring in pain, the pain was so much that he felt like his whole body was being taken apart.

This continued for minutes until he could not take it any longer, he fell unconscious. Once Sebastian fell unconscious, he finally seemed to get rest but this rest only lasted a minute before he woke up again.

Sebastian’s body didn’t wake up, only his consciousness woke up and at this moment, he was in a world extremely similar to the illusion realm.

In fact, Sebastian was positive that this was the illusion realm but just a more advanced version of it. Sebastian only had to look for some time before he became astonished by what he discovered.

"Is the blood pool the originator of the illusion realm?"

This question sprouted a lot of theories in his mind to explain some of his queries previously but he didn’t have the luxury to think too much.

Bzzz!

With a loud buzzing sound, Sebastian’s point of view changed. When he recovered himself, he was surprised to see a massive Megalodon of an estimable size now hovering directly before him.

"My name is Macquio Booma!"

"I became the first Ancient Megalodon!"

"I am the first Ancient Megalodon!"

"This is the inheritance that I left for all my descendants that are fortunate enough to encounter this".

"The pool will not only purify your bloodline, but meeting my lingering willpower will also open your eyes to high-level things about your world that you did not know of before".

"It will also open your eyes to the grand inestimable potential of the Ancient Megalodon bloodline".

"Watch and listen closely".

"It all started on the night of the red moon when I was born..."
