Chapter 457: Rescue Operation; And A Familiar Face!
Big Group thought that he died, but did he really?
At the last moment before death, the feeling of warmth already fulfilled his most basic needs as he felt that this was a perfect feeling to experience before dying. He was ready to die without regrets but life always had something in store.
Life brought today’s present to Big Group, and it was not death, rather, it was life. Today presented him with a 2-fold gift, it gave him life and hope.
While he still felt warmth all over, Big Group slowly grew suspicious. Even for a Grouper Fish like him who had never experienced death before, he had an idea of what it was and this was definitely not what he envisioned death to be.
Though he loved it if this was real, he knew that it was not. The vitality returning to his body told him that today’s present was probably different from what he thought it to be.
Before fainting completely, Big Group had the privilege to barely turn his head to the side where he saw a massive beast that felt strangely familiar.
He couldn’t see more but for some reason, the sight of this massive beast caused hope to blossom in his heart as he fainted the next moment.

Immediately after Queen Heareth made her move to rescue the almost dead Grouper Fish, Sebastian made his move as he activated 2 telekinesis skills. The first to grab Big Group, and the 2nd to pull him away from the Devouring worms.
In 2 precise moves from the 2 purple tier predators, Big Group who was hovering at the gate of death a few seconds ago was rescued.
As soon as the target was rescued, Strong who was leading the charge from the front made his move as he seemed to turn into a blood-red meteor storm that rapidly sped towards the Devouring Worms.
Immediately after the 3 powerful opponents appeared, the extremely sensitive Devouring Worms already detected the threat as they reacted.
Devouring Worms were beasts of a category who were content with bullying weaker prey and fleeing away from stronger predators.
With their one-dimensional mode of attack which was their sticky poison and their not too sharp teeth paired with their below-par defensive capabilities, they performed best in ambushes than in frontal confrontation battles.
Once they saw the intruders, they already started contemplating escape but it was when they detected the aura of their opponents that they became frenzied.
None of the Devouring Worms was a purple tier predator, they were all orange tier predators and those at the weaker part of the spectrum even, knowing that their new opponents were purple tier predators was horrifying.
They tried to escape but their fate was already sealed once Sebastian found this hole. Strong did not stop as he charged momentously through them.
None of the Devouring Worms was able to survive the charge of this Pugilist King Great White Shark, Strong literally steamrolled through them.
In just a second after he attacked, all the Devouring Worms were dead.
Without waiting for instructions from Sebastian, he swept his senses through the Grouper Fish that were randomly lying about. Almost all the Grouper Fish was already dead, only 2 lucky ones barely clung to life.
Once Strong identified these survivors, he turned and indicated for Queen Heareth to start her work as the Queen immediately started healing them.
By this time, Big Group was already before Sebastian.
Queen Heareth already healed all of Big Group’s surface injuries, and his internal injuries were healing rapidly due to a skill that she used. Despite all these, Big Group was still left unconscious after everything.
As Sebastian held this Grouper Fish in place with his telekinesis powers and as he looked on at him, it took no time for memories to start replaying in his head.
Since transmigrating into Oceania, the time that Sebastian spent with the Leroy clan was the shortest but it was one of the most memorable.
Looking at Big Group, Sebastian felt like he was looking at the last fragment of memory at the back of his mind that he didn’t want to lose.
Thinking back to the clan, to everything that he learned there and everyone that he encountered there from the swordfish, the twin crayfish, the crabs, everyone, and even Leroy himself, Sebastian felt even more awful.
The fact that he would never see all these companions again tore his heart.
Sebastian swam closer until his head touched the unconscious Big Group. "I failed you guys once, not being there when you all needed me the most, but from today, I promise to be there when you need me the most".
"I’ll protect you for as long as I live!"
With that, Sebastian finally turned to leave with Big Group and the remaining 2 Grouper Fish who survived the ambush of the Devouring Worms.
With this objective accomplished, Sebastian felt a huge load being offloaded from his shoulders. The remaining objective related to this was now Leroy, but to get to Leroy, the entry requirements were far harsher.
Sebastian silently vowed to get Leroy back one day.
It was already more than 3 days since Sebastian left the 1st Den of Anatomy with the entourage of Great White Sharks. They didn’t spend much time locating Big Group since Eliana provided him with live information.
After locating Big Group though, they were surprised as the Grouper Fish were hidden in a cave. There were numerous caves in the region, so Sebastian and his companions had no choice but to start scurrying all the caves.
Knowing that the Grouper Fish were in danger increased the pressure more.
After 10 minutes of relentless searching, they finally found the cave where Big Group and his bros of Grouper Fish hid. They left Tungsten to take care of the fleet while the 3 of them went inside the cave to rescue the Grouper Fish.’
Once they entered, they saw the Grouper Fish on the brink of annihilation and it was from there that developed all that happened after.
Throughout the return journey, though Queen Heareth and Strong didn’t know what the Grouper Fish meant to Sebastian, they read the mood and were considerate enough to remain quiet as they returned to the surface.
After silently leaving the cave to the surface, they encountered an unnatural calm and silence that was not supposed to happen with such a gathering of Great White Sharks in the vicinity.
They didn’t feel it at first, but as Sebastian and his 2 companions swam closer to the cluster of warships and shuttles housing the Great White Sharks, they finally discovered the unnatural atmosphere that was in the water at this moment.
Sebastian stopped instantly as he extended his senses outward.

Once Sebastian blasted out with his senses while holding Big Group, this was when he discovered what exactly happened as his expression finally changed.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
With the sounds of clapping reverberating, a familiar figure appeared, a familiar Atlantian figure appeared out of the formation of warships!
Sebastian’s gaze sharpened on this sight. "Captain Omega!"
