Chapter 432: Celebrations!
3 qualifiers succeeded in gaining the acknowledgment of a Celestial Beast!
3 qualifiers succeeded in integrating with a Celestial Beast!
Once again, the Mana Lords of this Manapedia were exposed to something that they have never seen in the history of their race.
Never in any Mana Lord Induction Ceremony had more than 2 Mana Lords ever succeeded in getting the acknowledgment of a Celestial Beast, this was a history-making Induction Ceremony that sent Manapedia into a frenzy.
Once again, this Induction Ceremony proved to be a special case.
The spectating Mana Lords were treated to an exciting ceremony that would probably not be replicated in ages. In this Induction Ceremony, new grounds were continually broken as the Mana Lords were exposed to something new.
In this ceremony, not only did they get to see a visiting predator rising to stardom, but they also saw with their own eyes this visiting predator being acknowledged by one of the Celestial Beasts of their Manapedia.
The spectating Mana Lords were astonished, but only for a time as the next moment, they all erupted in cheers as celebrations officially started in full swing.
The Induction Ceremony was called a ceremony for a reason, anytime that a Mana Lord succeeded in bonding with a Celestial Beast, it was a cause for celebration, now the whole Manapedia was plunged into a celebratory mood again.
Even before the 6 Mana Lords who entered the Glowing Sanctum could be transported back, the Mana Lords already started their elaborate celebrations.
...
Inside the Glowing Sanctum, Sebastian gave one lasting look at this world of white where he got the opportunity of a lifetime.
Mana Lords saw the Glowing Sanctum as a sacred ground of the Manapedia, Sebastian didn’t see it that way before, but after getting his Celestial Beast and being exposed to the wonders here, he now saw it as a sacred ground also.
He entered the Glowing Sanctum ignorant of a lot of mysteries, but he came out as a different Sebastian with a lot of new knowledge and a Celestial Beast.
At this moment, he and his 5 companions were already back inside the Mana Lord-shaped warship as they were ferried out of the Glowing Sanctum.
Without even needing to see it first, Sebastian and his 5 companions could already feel the excitement and the celebratory mood that was in the Manapedia.
All 6 of them felt mixed feelings.
Sebastian didn’t need his electroreceptors to feel the envy radiating from the 3 Mana Lords who failed the acknowledgment test.
3 was already an outrageous rate of acknowledgment for the test, but all of them came here with dreams, the 3 who failed felt worse knowing that the other 3 already got a different status from them.
Sebastian felt bad for them, but this was life, people get opportunities, and only a few are lucky enough to take full advantage of these opportunities.
The others are hindered by either their incompetence, lack of luck, lack of determination, or a lot of other factors that Sebastian could not list completely.
By the time that the warship finally left the Glowing Sanctum, Sebastian had already forgotten about his 3 companions who failed the test as he finally beheld a Manapedia that was already in a celebratory mood.
Once the warship flew high enough, Sebastian looked down, at the forests, the floating seamounts, and the structures that made up this Manapedia.
The 2 main points that were dominant once he looked were the numerous excited Mana Lords who were now waving at them excitedly, and 3 prominent golden statues that seemed to radiate godhood.
Sebastian was surprised, a statue was already made for him, Monolith, and Meg who was the last Mana Lord who got acknowledged by a Celestial Beast.
Alongside their statues were statues of their respective Celestial Beasts.
Alongside Sebastian’s statue was a statue of a majestic Golden Crow who was depicted to be circling around what seemed like a sun, alongside Monolith’s statue was a statue of a mighty Black Dragon whose flames brought an apocalypse.
Sebastian was surprised on seeing Monolith’s statue, he knew this Celestial Beast, this was the Dragon that first entered his mind in the Glowing Sanctum.
His surprise soon turned to understanding though after thinking some more. From the little that he knew about Monolith and the clear personality of the Black Dragon, he guessed that both were more or less a perfect fit for each other.
As for Meg, the only female Mana Lord who made it to this stage, her statue was accompanied by a statue of a majestic Phoenix.
This female Mana Lord’s statue completed the equation.
As the warship flew above the Mana Lord settlements, Sebastian, Monolith, and Meg got to see the excitement of the Mana Lords below which further highlighted the significance of their achievements.
3 minutes later, the warship arrived at a different location of the Manapedia that Sebastian had never been to or heard of before.
From afar, Sebastian could already see the 3 massive floating boulders that a massive signboard was tied and attached to.
>Induction Temple<
On seeing this, Sebastian already had a vague idea of what was about to happen as the warship carrying them drove in-between the 3 floating boulders.
The next moment, the world filled with bright mana clouds disappeared, the warship seemed to have passed through a teleportation portal as it appeared in an isolated region of the Manapedia.
Unlike the outside world, here was illuminated by dim lighting, and through the little illumination, Sebastian discovered that this was a giant hall.
This giant hall was so massive that it easily accommodated the huge Mana Lord-shaped warship without it feeling cramped up.
At different corners of the hall hovered massive Mana Lords whose postures suggested that they were bodyguards. 80% of them were purple tier Mana Lords, while the remaining 20% were powerful Red tier Mana Lords numbering about 6.
Only a single structure was inside this massive hall, this was a temple that was extremely similar to the Temple of Primordial Mana.
One of the Red tier Mana Lords hovered at the front, guarding this temple.
Whoosh!
Without giving them any warning, Sebastian and his 5 companions were ejected out of the warship as the warship was quickly teleported away.
As soon as they were ejected, Sebastian activated his combined super sensing which enabled him to detect the change in the expressions of his 5 companions. The 5 Mana Lords now had a look of reverence on their faces.
"This way!" The Red tier Mana Lord guarding the front of the temple suddenly spoke as his voice boomed loudly like thunder.
Without even thinking, Sebastian’s body moved instinctively as he swam with his 5 companions in the direction of the temple without protesting.
When they came close enough, the temple’s massive door finally started opening. Sebastian felt his heart leaping into his throat as blood pressure rose, the temple’s door opening seemed to strike certain chords in his body.
Clang!
Before the door could open fully, Sebastian confirmed his speculations about where this temple was as the powerful aura blasted out through the opened doors.
"A Black tier predator!"
