I stood there, looking up at the massive apartment building. It exuded an aura of pure wealth and luxury.
I recalled the words the principal had said to me.
"Since you have just gone through the shock of losing your parents, the school will waive your entire tuition fee for the duration of your studies."
University X was a renowned institution. My father and mother had been professors there for many years; they passed away in a traffic accident.

Alex finished his glass of water.
"I work at a game development company. I have to go to work tomorrow because we’re currently in the middle of making a game."

"Hahaha, that’s cool. I love playing games. I wonder if I could try it out?"
Alex shook his head.
"That won’t be possible. The game doesn’t have a test build yet. If it does, I’ll give you a copy."
I laughed, talking as if we were already very close.
"That would be awesome, haha."
"I see you two are cleaning up? Do you need some help?"

"No need for that."
I stood up and picked up a cardboard box next to me.
