Chapter 83: Harem In The Pool

Dani didn’t hesitate.

She didn’t check the depth, and she didn’t bother taking off her shirt.

’That was my kiss!’

She scrambled up from the wet tiles with her bare feet slapping hard against the stone as she sprinted three rapid steps forward.

Without a single ounce of self-preservation, she launched herself off the edge of the coping and cannonballed directly into the deep end, aiming her body straight for Leah and Priya.

The impact was massive.

Total chaos erupted in the deep end.

The garden pool, which had previously been a site of wholesome swimming lessons, was instantly transformed into a hostile aquatic battleground.

Dani was an absolute menace.

She hit the water and immediately sank beneath the surface, using her significantly shorter height and lower body weight to her advantage.

While Leah and Priya were treading water, trying to wipe the cannonball splash out of their eyes, Dani became a subterranean torpedo.

’Hehehehehehe~’

She dove underwater, weaving effortlessly through their legs. Leah shrieked as something grabbed her ankle, yanking her slightly downward.

Before Leah could retaliate, Dani popped up directly between the two women, a wicked grin on her face.

She cupped both of her hands together, creating a perfect scoop, and forcefully shoved a wave of water directly into Leah’s face, blinding the heiress instantly.

"Get back here, you little brat!" Leah yelled, blindly thrashing her arms and sending chaotic splashes in every direction.

Priya tried to retreat, paddling backward to get out of the crossfire, but Dani was too fast.

The shorter girl dove back under the ripples, vanishing from sight. Priya anxiously scanned the surface, her dark eyes darting left and right.

Suddenly, Dani broke the surface right next to Priya’s shoulder.

With ruthless precision, Dani threw a concentrated handful of water directly into Priya’s wide open eyes.

"Ah!" Priya yelped, squeezing her eyes shut. The chlorine stung sharply. She started coughing, bringing both of her hands up to rub her face, completely dropping her guard.

She blindly treaded water, trying to clear her vision.

The splashing around her briefly stopped.

’You know... maybe I should have asked Dani to teach me how to swim.’ Wren thought, there was no way she was actually moving that fast...

Dani swam a little closer, floating just inches away from Priya.

She tilted her head, putting on a sickeningly sweet, incredibly innocent voice that sounded like a concerned friend.

"Oh my gosh, are you alright?" Dani asked softly, reaching out to gently touch Priya’s shoulder. "I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to hit your eyes."

Priya sniffled, lowering her hands from her face, feeling a brief wave of relief that the attack had stopped.

She opened her red, stinging eyes, offering a weak forgiving smile. "It’s okay, I just—"

The exact second Priya lowered her hands, Dani’s innocent expression vanished.

With lightning speed, Dani violently kicked her legs and blasted another massive, point-blank handful of water directly into Priya’s face.

Priya gasped, choking on a mouthful of water as Dani erupted into a fit of laughter, swimming rapidly backward to escape the immediate retaliation.

"I can’t believe you fell for that!" Dani cackled, dodging a sloppy blind splash thrown by Leah.

Wren stayed near the edge of the pool, treading water lazily and watching the war unfold.

He rested his chin on his hand with a genuine smile on his face.

’We have to make this resort day lively, don’t we?’

The shrieks... the laughter... and the constant splashing echoed off the stone walls, completely drowning out the sounds of the luxury resort.

He was just about to swim forward and dunk Dani to give the other two a fighting chance when a sound cut through the chaos.

SMACK!

It was a loud sound of wet flesh colliding.

It echoed sharply across the enclosed garden pool, cutting through the splashing and the yelling like a gunshot.

The girls in the water froze.

The brutal water war ceased instantly as the heavy ripples slowly died down, leaving the surface of the pool eerily calm.

Leah lowered her hands, Priya stopped rubbing her eyes and even Dani stopped laughing.

They all slowly turned their heads, looking up toward the shallow edge of the pool where Wren had been floating just moments ago.

Wren wasn’t in the water anymore.

He was sitting on the solid stone edge of the pool coping, his broad back resting against the warm tiles with his long legs dangling down into the water.

And sitting completely straddling his lap was Isabella.

The fiercely competitive racer had materialized out of nowhere. She was wearing a tight, athletic, two-piece swimsuit that showcased her incredibly toned physique and her skin was glistening with sweat from whatever morning workout she had just finished.

She wasn’t just sitting there... She was aggressively making out with him.

’Hehe... Marcus is all gone now.’

She had just seen him off at the small airport that was available here... and the moment she learned that Wren was here with the other girls, she naturally came over and she couldn’t help herself.

’It’s not like they’re going to tell on me anyway.’ Isa thought, and even if they did, she would just break up with Marcus.

Isabella’s strong legs were wrapped tightly around Wren’s waist, anchoring herself to his hips.

Both of her arms were thrown around his neck, her fingers buried deeply into his wet bond hair.

Isa had his head tilted back, her mouth moving forcefully against his, completely dominating his personal space.

SMACK!

Wren’s hands were resting lightly on her waist, caught entirely off guard by the sudden ambush.

He hadn’t even heard her walk into the garden... One second he was watching a water fight, and the next, the athletic racer had tackled him onto the tiles.

In the deep end, the atmosphere shifted violently.

The petty squabbling between Leah, Priya, and Dani evaporated into thin air as the three girls treaded water side-by-side, staring at the older woman practically devouring Wren on the edge of the pool.

Their lips thinned into identical flat lines.

The jealousy was palpable.

Isabella hadn’t been part of the morning group... She hadn’t been part of the swimming lesson... She had just waltzed in, ignored everyone else, and immediately claimed the ultimate prize right in front of their faces.

Leah narrowed her green eyes, the gold chains of her swimsuit clinking as she tensed her muscles.

Priya’s jaw tightened and Dani just glared.

Without saying a single word, the three girls looked at each other.

They didn’t need to speak as the mutual burning resentment of the intruder formed an instant unspoken alliance.

Leah, Priya, and Dani shared a silent unified nod.

They turned back toward the shallow end, kicking their legs in unison, and swam over to the edge of the pool like a coordinated pack of aquatic predators.

Isabella was too focused on the kiss to notice the approaching threat.

"Mmmph~"

She let out a soft, breathy moan against Wren’s lips, shifting her weight to press her hips tighter against his lap.

The following strike was fast and merciless.

Leah surged out of the water first, her hands locking onto Isabella’s left ankle. Priya flanked the right side, her hands gripping Isabella’s right thigh and Dani popped up right in the middle, throwing her arms around the racer’s waist.

"Hey...!" Isabella gasped, her eyes snapping open as she forcefully broke the kiss.

She didn’t have time to react as the three girls yanked backward with all their combined strength.

Isabella’s grip on Wren’s neck tore loose.

"Heyy—"

The racer let out a loud, indignant shriek as she was ripped right off his lap, sliding across the wet tiles and plunging face-first into the water.

SPLASH!

"What the hell is wrong with you three?!" Isabella complained loudly, breaking the surface and thrashing her arms.

She wiped the pool water from her eyes, glaring at the makeshift alliance. "I was busy!"

"You don’t get to decide that!" Leah snapped back, splashing water at the racer.

Wren just sat there on the edge of the pool, his chest heaving slightly, his lips still tingling from the heavy kiss.

He blinked in genuine surprise, looking down at the four beautiful women squabbling in the water.

He couldn’t go five minutes on this island without someone throwing themselves at him or fighting over him.

He let out a tired sigh, ready to stand up and call it a day however he didn’t get the chance.

Before Wren could move, Leah and Isabella stopped glaring at each other. They looked up at him sitting safely on the dry tiles.

"Grab him," Isabella ordered.

Leah reached up, her hands clamping onto Wren’s right wrist. Isabella lunged forward, grabbing his left arm.

"Wait—" Wren started, his eyes widening slightly.

Priya and Dani didn’t hesitate to join the mutiny.

They grabbed whatever part of his legs they could reach, and with a synchronized, violent pull, they dragged his frame straight off the edge of the coping.

Wren hit the water with a heavy, plunging splash, dragged down into the chaotic tangle of limbs and splashing water.

SPLASH!

He surfaced a moment later, laughing despite himself as he wiped his eyes.

The pool had devolved into a massive, free-for-all free-for-all. Isabella was trying to dunk Leah, Dani was clinging to Wren’s back like a koala, and Priya was wildly splashing anyone who got too close.

Just as the water fight hit its peak, the heavy wooden doors of the enclosed garden swung open again.

The sunlight spilled across the entryway, illuminating the two new arrivals.

Diana and Zoe, walked into the pool area.

Wren did tell Diana to come after all...

Diana looked stunning.

The older woman was wearing a highly elegant, flowing silk robe that wrapped loosely around her figure, tied securely at the waist.

Beneath the sheer silk, the dark fabric of her mature sensible swimsuit was barely visible.

Zoe walked beside her, wearing a simple two-piece.

The pink-haired girl took one look at the absolute, sprawling chaos happening in the water. She saw Leah and Isabella wrestling, Priya laughing, and Dani actively climbing on Wren’s shoulders.

Zoe’s degenerate instincts activated instantly.

"Hehe~"

Her eyes widened as a gleam took over her features.

She didn’t see a friendly water fight... she saw a target-rich environment full of distracted, highly attractive people pressed tightly together.

’This is the perfect opportunity!’ Zoe thought gleefully with her hands clenching into fists. ’With all this splashing and thrashing around, no one will even notice. I can definitely touch some ass in this chaos!’

"Don’t forget about me..." Zoe yelled at the top of her lungs.

She didn’t bother taking a shower or testing the temperature.

She just broke into a full sprint, her bare feet slapping against the stone, and launched herself into the air, executing a reckless cannonball right into the center of the fray.

Diana didn’t follow her daughter.

She stood alone at the edge of the pool, near the wooden cabana with the gentle breeze tugging at the hem of her silk robe.

’Haah~ To be young...’

Standing there, looking down at the beautiful, vibrant young girls completely fawning over Wren, a strange uncomfortable tightness gripped her chest.

’I did say I needed to act like a young woman...’

She watched the way Wren laughed, the way his wet hair clung to his forehead and the effortless magnetic pull he had over every single person in that water.

A stubborn competitive spark ignited deep within her.

’I don’t want to be outdone...’ Diana thought with her hands tightening on the silk knot at her waist. ’I want him to be with me.’

She didn’t want to just stand on the sidelines like a chaperone while the younger women fought for his attention.

She wanted to be part of it... She wanted him to look at her the way he was looking at them...

’It’s easier said than done.’

Diana took a deep nervous breath to steady her racing heart.

Her fingers trembled slightly as she gracefully untied the knot of her robe.

"D-ddeep breaths..." She muttered, taking a trembling breath as she let the silk fall from her shoulders with the fabric pooling softly on the warm stone tiles.

Her swimsuit was elegant and modest, a dark navy blue that complimented her pale skin and mature curves.

She felt entirely exposed under the bright sun, highly conscious of the fact that she was the oldest woman in the room.

Diana stepped slowly onto the top step of the pool, the cool water rushing over her ankles as she glanced up with her eyes seeking him out.

Wren had managed to pry Dani off his back.

He was treading water near the center of the deep end, taking a brief breather from the crossfire; however, the moment he felt eyes on him and turned his head.

When he saw Diana standing on the steps, a smile appeared on his face.

He looked at her with genuine desire with his blue eyes raking slowly over her figure before locking onto her face.

Diana blushed heavily, the heat rushing up her neck and staining her cheeks.

"You don’t have to be a pervert about it..."

She looked down at the rippling blue water, feeling completely and utterly out of her element.

She didn’t know how to act in a chaotic water fight... She was used to quiet dinners and polite conversation.

’Should I do the same?’ Diana wondered, her heart fluttering nervously. ’Is that how this works?’

With a slightly awkward, incredibly cute hesitation, Diana bent her knees.

She reached down into the shallow water with her delicate hands trembling slightly as she cupped a small amount of water in her palms.

She stood back up, locked eyes with Wren, and lightly tossed the water in his direction.

It wasn’t a violent, aggressive splash like Leah’s, or a ruthless, blinding attack like Dani’s. It was a gentle, almost polite toss.

The small cluster of water arced perfectly through the humid air.

It sailed over the distance and smacked Wren directly in the center of his face.

Wren blinked, completely caught off guard by the sheer, wholesome innocence of the attack.

He reached up, wiping the water from his eyes, and looked at the mature woman standing awkwardly on the stairs, waiting for his reaction with a massive blush on her face.

Wren couldn’t help it. A deep, resonant laugh tore from his chest, entirely genuine.

"Cute..." Wren mutters loud enough for her to hear.

The single word crossed the distance and struck Diana right in the chest.

Her heart violently skipped a beat as she could feel something spreading through her stomach. Her elegant, reserved composure melted completely, replaced by a wide radiant smile.

She had his attention.

Wren grinned as he aggressively scooped up a massive handful of water.

He threw it right back in her direction.

SPLASH!
