"I’m sorry." Sophie Smith pulled herself together, gently tugging at his sleeve with a hint of appeasement.
"You’re saying, I forced you?" Clearly, he had taken her words to heart.

"Eva, just eat a little bit."

"Sophie, just leave the food here. I’ll eat it when I feel a bit better..." Eva responded weakly before lying back down on the bed. Sophie had been pregnant before, so she knew how uncomfortable these reactions could be and didn’t push her.

Sophie took a week’s leave from school. After spending a week with Eva, Eva worried about disrupting Sophie’s studies, so she ’pushed’ her back to school.
"Don’t worry, Sophie, I’m feeling much better now, you don’t need to worry about me."

Sophie glanced at Eva and then at Luke Land. After some thought, she realized it wasn’t good to get involved between them.
