Chapter 729: Chapter 727 Little Bastard [2nd Update]
In the living room, Little Panda continued to play with his building blocks as if he hadn’t heard Liam Spencer talking to him.
In the hallway, Liam was still waiting for Little Panda to change his shoes for him. Between father and son, Liam always wanted to win.
However, Little Panda completely ignored his existence.
"Little Panda, your dad is calling you, where are your ears?" Liam felt a bit awkward as the little guy ignored him, so he called his name again to remind him.
What made him even more embarrassed was that Little Panda still ignored him.
Liam watched the little guy’s back, biting his lower lip, feeling both amused and helpless.
Then, he took his slippers to the living room, sat next to Little Panda, and lightly kicked him with his foot, saying, "Son, change my shoes."
The little guy clearly heard the command, but calmly pushed Liam’s foot away and continued to play with his blocks.
When Little Panda was doing something, he was very focused and disliked being disturbed. In this situation, the only person who could get him to respond was Maya Spencer.
Seeing the little rascal repeatedly ignoring him, Liam bent over, picked up one of his blocks, and questioned: "Little Panda, do you know who earns money to buy these blocks? Do you want your dad to stop providing for you?"
Liam was at his wits’ end with Little Panda and could only resort to threats.
It was only then that the little guy raised his head, looked at Liam, and replied slowly, "Mom said to take care of your own things."
"Pfft..." Liam couldn’t help but burst into laughter, thinking: This little rascal, the serious way he talks back, is just like Maya Spencer, making him love them to pieces.
There was no helping it; Liam was a masochist, loving to watch this mother-son duo play tricks.
He took a deep breath and snatched another block from Little Panda: "Hmm! What Mom says makes sense, but since Dad bought these things, then you shouldn’t play with them."
In an instant, the little guy was stunned, his eyes wide open, staring at Liam.
He didn’t think Liam was wrong, but he really wanted to play with his blocks.
However, conceding to Liam at this moment, putting his shoes on Liam, was something he couldn’t swallow.
Liam was proud, Maya was proud, and Little Panda was even prouder with the combination of the two.
He stared wide-eyed at Liam for a moment and then calmly stood up from the pile of toys, put on his own shoes, and even put them on the wrong way.
As he walked toward the stairs, he muttered, "Tonight, I’ll have Mom sleep with me instead of you."
"Pfft..." Listening to the little guy’s threat, Liam laughed again.
Maya Spencer was completely right; she said Little Panda would definitely be cunning, and indeed he was proving to be more cunning than expected. The little rascal, not even two and a half years old, was actually threatening him.
Biting his lip, Liam thought, today he had to deal with this little rascal; otherwise, he would have no status at home.
So, he quickly got up from the sofa, took a few steps, caught up with Little Panda, and hoisted him onto his shoulder, patting his bottom, and questioned, "You little bastard, are you threatening your dad?"
"Mom! Mom! Mom, save me..." The little guy, caught by Liam, desperately called Maya to rescue him.
From the bedroom upstairs, Maya heard Little Panda’s cries and hurriedly came down. Seeing the scene before her and Liam’s bare feet, she understood without needing to ask.
As she walked closer to them, she gently pinched Little Panda’s nose: "Little Panda, Dad’s been working hard all day, it’s tough. Will you help Dad change his shoes?"
The little guy, after receiving Maya’s instruction, responded very seriously, "Okay!"
"..." Liam almost wanted to cry and ask the little guy why he wouldn’t listen to him. Luckily, his wife cared for him; otherwise, he would be heartbroken.
Then, Liam put the little guy down, and the family of three moved to the living room sofa.
Liam lay on the sofa like a lord, holding Maya close with Little Panda squatting on the ground, silently helping Liam put on his shoes.
To exact revenge for the earlier confrontation, after Little Panda helped Liam with his shoes, Liam slightly exerted himself to slip them off.
"You’re bad!" Maya looked at Liam’s mischievous antics and placed a reproachful hand on his chest.
"The little guy deserves discipline." Liam lifted Maya’s chin,
Beside them, Little Panda simply sat on the ground. Each time Liam kicked off his shoes, Little Panda patiently put them back on for him.
After seven or eight times, the little guy’s brows knitted together, showing signs of impatience.
When he looked up at Liam, he saw that the guy was kissing Maya.
Suddenly, Little Panda was furious and hugged Ryan’s foot, biting down unceremoniously.
Liam twitched in pain but clenched his reflexes to refrain from kicking the little guy away; otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
He released Maya and watched Little Panda biting his leg, laughing so hard his stomach hurt.
Seeing the little guy sitting on the ground, hands tightly wrapped around his leg and impolitely biting, he felt helpless. The little guy’s demeanor was increasingly resembling his mother’s, becoming adorably unbearable.
When Maya saw the situation, she was shocked. She immediately bounced off the sofa and held Little Panda: "Little Panda, let go, how can you bite Dad’s foot? Don’t you find it smelly?"
"Little rascal, who said I’m smelly?" Liam raised his right leg and lightly kicked Maya.
Maya, clutching Little Panda, angrily looked at Liam: "Liam, you bastard,
This bastard actually provoked her son into eating his foot; how could she not be upset, not mind it? And he was even laughing so happily.
"Wife, it’s not my fault; Little Panda wanted to eat my foot himself, I didn’t force him." Liam held back his laughter, trying to explain.
Alright, he admitted, he was indeed a prankster dad, but he really wanted to laugh. Seeing Little Panda biting his foot reminded him of when Little Panda peed on Liam’s face. In short, this little guy was becoming more fun, and he just loved teasing him.
After being picked up by Maya, Little Panda tightly wrapped his arms around her neck, his face leaning on her shoulder, pitifully saying, "Dad is bad, dad is so bad!"
"Uh-huh! Dad is bad, Mom won’t want Dad anymore, and will sleep with Little Panda from now on." Maya patted the little guy’s back, comforting him.
Liam looked at the aggrieved pair, watching Little Panda lying on Maya’s shoulder. Little Panda happened to be looking at him, and the little rascal’s lips curled into a smug smile, as if indicating to Liam that he’d won Maya over.
