Chapter 997: Chapter 997 Beautiful Flower-like Useless Girl_1

A few moments later, he changed his approach, his voice becoming more submissive, "I told them about the past, and they are very grateful to my sister for helping me before, so they want to thank you in person."

Hannah looked at him steadily for a while, saw the cautiousness in those pitch-black eyes, and could not help but laugh, "Lying."

The past was Louis Snyder’s Achilles’ heel; he would never casually mention it to others.

Although the young man seemed easygoing and approachable, he valued his self-esteem above all else. He hated being looked down upon the most and would never voluntarily share the most embarrassing part of his history with anybody else.

Not to mention the Yarn Family he had always despised.

"Sister has seen through me, huh." His poor lie exposed, Louis Snyder did not show any panic on his face, but simply lowered his gaze, smiling, "I just... hope my sister would pay more attention to me."

The obedient smile, with a touch of shy coquetry.

Unfortunately, Hannah paid it no mind.

Just then, Hayes Edwards also came running over, snorted coldly at Louis Snyder before turning to Hannah, "Teacher Qi is waiting for you. She said there’s a wrap party prepared for tomorrow, but she wants to gather with you tonight."

Crystal Quach thought highly of Hannah.

Although they didn’t have many confrontational scenes in the drama, she always observed from the sidelines during filming.

There were many attractive people in the circle, and actors of all styles, but few possessed the kind of aura Hannah did—her temperament was both pure and enchanting, creating a great contrast that struck others.

Her acting skills might not be the very best, but they were rare in being comfortable and not breaking character.

In the past few days, Hayes Edwards had heard no shortage of praises from Crystal Quach about Hannah. Instead of feeling envious, he felt proud, "The movie that got Jackie Qualls the Best Actor award was introduced by Crystal Quach; maybe she has come to you this time because she has a good script."

Crystal Quach had an excellent network in the industry, and what was most valuable was that she had many classmates who were major directors.

All graduates from a film school, they said that her class was legendary.

They produced both actors and directors.

Seeing the animation on his face, Hannah laughed, "What, you also want to win Best Actor?"

Hayes Edwards hurriedly waved his hand. Since his acting was always criticized, he took these things in stride, "I’ll pass, I’m aware of my own limits. I think I need to rest for a while after this. Being a beautiful waste sounds pretty good to me."

"A beautiful waste?" Hannah paused, "That’s a nice idea."

Hayes Edwards looked up nonchalantly, "Of course it is!"

Louis Snyder was completely ignored at the side.

He didn’t say anything, just quietly watched the two of them walk away.

The youth stood there, his presence cooler than usual, but it was only for a moment.

Seeing an assistant come over, he quickly reverted to his usual demeanor.

We will meet again.

Crystal Quach had made an appointment with Hannah.

Interestingly, it wasn’t set in some restaurant, but in her own home. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

If it had been a male actor, such a meeting certainly might lead to some speculation.

But Crystal Quach was renowned in the circle for looking after the younger generation and being very approachable, never putting on airs.

Hannah knocked on the door.

To her surprise, the voice that came from inside was that of a child.

Seemingly in a bad mood, the tone was not too pleasant, "Who is it?"

Hannah did not get a chance to reply when a gentle female voice followed, "It’s probably a friend of mommy’s, Matthew can you help open the door, okay?"

The murmurs that followed were likely about something else.
