Chapter 960: Chapter 960 Breaking Ties_1
Hannah leaned in, watched intently for a while, and then commented, "It is pretty intense."
Hayes quickly withdrew his hand, his face brimming with pride, "Of course, those people were so naive to think that taking down the video would be the end of it. A whole lot of people had downloaded it, and now there’s no sweeping this under the rug."
What was playing on the phone was the very clip of Tiffany Lynch and Sophie Taylor brawling.
However, the clarity of the video in Hayes’ possession was obviously much better than the widely circulated versions online; it seemed like it had been captured by a surveillance camera.
What nobody knew was that this particular surveillance footage was actually released by the director of The Palace Wall himself.
He had long been fed up with Tiffany, and had hoped to use this opportunity to simply replace her, but who knew Tiffany’s financier would protect her so fiercely.
As a result, this surveillance video, along with other footage, "disappeared" shortly after it was released.
Such a pity!
Of course, there were quick-handed individuals like Hayes who had immediately downloaded the video to their phones.
But given the current situation, they could only watch it privately amongst themselves now.
Hayes casually grabbed some chips from the side and crunched down forcefully, mumbling to himself,
"Tiffany’s jealousy is just too strong. Wasn’t that vote-swapping incident at the talent show enough for her to learn her lesson? Now she even wants to throw mud at Hannah, not to mention her fans..."
When he got agitated, Hayes even slapped the table several times.
After all, aside from Louis’ fans, Tiffany’s fans were also known to be crazily fervent in the entire business.
They seemed to share the same flaw, believing the whole world was out to hurt their beloved artist.
Thankfully, the evidence from the initial incident was irrefutable, and quite a few netizens were still sensible, showing support for Hannah sending cease and desist letters to the rumormongers.
Naturally, they weren’t planning to let Tiffany off easily either.
For several consecutive days, people flocked to Tiffany’s Weibo demanding she apologize to Hannah, and some even dug up Tiffany’s live-streamed apology from the vote-swapping incident.
For Tiffany, this was like being humiliated all over again.
After all, what she valued most was her own face, and she couldn’t tolerate her scandals being brought up again and again.
In the end, with no other choice, she was forced to issue another statement. But reading through it, it was clear that she had washed her hands of any responsibility, framing it more as dissociating herself than apologizing.
Throughout the statement, she implied it was all her fans’ fault, and had nothing to do with her.
—I mean, can Tiffany even still have fans after behaving like this?
—Though fans are to blame, too, are you telling me Tiffany is completely faultless here? I don’t believe a few young fans would have the money to hire bots and marketing accounts to forward posts.
—Not to mention, Tiffany’s targeting of Hannah Winter is nothing new; she even snatched the lead role in The Palace Wall right from Hannah’s grasp.
—Not to say anything else, but the director is still lying in the hospital. I have a relative who’s friends with a nurse there, who said the director was actually fine long ago, but just didn’t want to face Tiffany, so he kept extending his sick leave.
—Doesn’t anyone think it’s a bit much for Hannah Winter to sue a bunch of underage fans? Aren’t they just kids?
—The one above must have been possessed by some crystal spirit, my dog speaks more sense than you. If you dare to commit the act, you have to be ready to face the consequences. Which normal child at such a young age would photoshop obituary photos and spew foul language about body parts?
