Chapter 956: Chapter 956: You Can Tell Me Everything_1

Long before he reached adulthood, he already owned several properties, with this villa being the closest to the Simmons Clan.

Even so, the villa’s interior decoration remained luxurious, whether it was the carpet spread on the floor or the famous paintings hanging on the walls, all were valuable.

Although Tiffany Lynch had once been a prestigious lady of great wealth and status, her family had fallen on hard times, and it had been a long time since she had seen such fine things.

But she always remembered to maintain her facade of elegance, so she merely pretended to casually look around before following Hank Ward upstairs.

Hank Ward stood outside the study, knocking lightly on the door.

There was no immediate response from inside, and Tiffany Lynch grew anxious, "Jimmy, it’s me."

Hank Ward just gave Tiffany Lynch a glance and did not say much.

After a few seconds of pause, a calm male voice came from inside, "Come in."

The door opened, and Tiffany Lynch saw the man in the wheelchair with his back to her at a glance.

There was a momentary rigidity in her expression, but she quickly recovered and walked over to squat beside him, "Jimmy, your leg?"

Hank Ward tactfully closed the door, leaving the two people alone in the room.

Jimmy Simmons looked down at the woman beside him and showed her a comforting smile, although his voice was flat, "It’s nothing, the doctor just told me to use my legs less for the time being, so I’m in the wheelchair."

Tiffany Lynch finally breathed a sigh of relief, her gaze unnaturally falling on Jimmy Simmons’ legs, "That’s good."

She did indeed have genuine feelings for Jimmy Simmons, and at the very least, she had already positioned herself in the role of Mrs. Simmons, the key to her turnaround.

Moreover, the Simmons family was not like the River family, with no so-called elders to speak of, and though there was Arnold Simmons, she believed that as long as Jimmy Simmons was willing to marry her, Arnold Simmons would definitely not meddle.

Lost in her thoughts, she seemed a bit distracted, yet the expression on her face genuinely seemed filled with concern and worry.

Unfortunately, the more Jimmy Simmons saw of such expressions, the more tasteless he found them.

Compared to Hannah, she was indeed far behind.

George River must have been blind to see any resemblance between the two of them.

Jimmy Simmons shifted his gaze from the gentle brows and eyes of the woman, mentioning as if offhandedly, "Tiffany, do you have something you want to talk to me about today?"

When the conversation turned to business matters, Tiffany Lynch finally came back to her senses, looking at the man who had moved to one side in his wheelchair, and stood up.

She appeared hesitant and struggled to begin, biting her lip, "Jimmy, I..."

Jimmy Simmons turned around, looked at the person in front of him, and through his brows and eyes flowed a tender affection as he softened his voice, "Tiffany, I’ve told you, you can tell me anything."

As he spoke, his fingertips gently caressed the cold armrest, but all the tenderness was just surface deep, not reaching his eyes.

As if preparing to watch a performance.

But Tiffany Lynch, due to the man’s gentle tone, let down her guard and slowly began to tell her story.

She was clever, however, mixing truth and lies in her tale and not completely clearing herself.

She only said Sophie Taylor spoke very unpleasant words, so she could not help but lose her temper and hit someone. She immediately apologized afterwards, but who knew someone with ulterior motives would take a video and post it online.

She dared to say all this because she knew that Jimmy Simmons was never the type to concern himself with entertainment news.

As she spoke, she couldn’t help but start to cry again.
