Chapter 932: Chapter 932: Not Going Home Anymore_1

A pair of bright black eyes twinkled as they blinked lightly, and cherry-like red lips pouted slightly, her voice soft, "I just wanted a kiss, that’s all."

Even while sitting, the man loomed a head taller than the girl, and now that she was hugging his neck, he could only bend down.

Through a layer of lenses, everything became clear.

Underneath the girl’s curly lashes, a pair of shiny black eyes seemed to peer into his heart, spotting vulnerabilities and then playing and teasing without restraint.

And he had no way to deal with it.

"Go back for a kiss."

Hearing this, the smile at the corners of Hannah’s lips immediately dropped, and she huffed, "Forget it, I’m not going home."

Arnold could only close the document in his hand and toss it aside, "If you’re not going home, where else are you going?"

Hannah shifted slightly to the side, turning her head to gaze at the scenery outside the car window, "I’m going back to the set, I’m filming, I’m busy."

Her voice was soft and petulant, clearly sulking.

Outside the window, the sky had darkened completely, the cold wind rustling the leaves, with few pedestrians on the road, and those few hurrying home with anxious expressions.

It looked like a storm was on the horizon.

In the bustling city, amid the chilly winter, the liveliness had retreated indoors, leaving only the festoon of lights decorating the city.

And illuminating the girl’s shiny dark pupils.

The lights inside the car had dimmed at some point, making the person seated by the window appear even tinier, her trembling eyelashes making it seem like she could burst into tears at any moment.

A warm heat rose from around her waist, and without thinking, Hannah raised her hand and swatted it away, "Don’t touch me."

Arnold paused for only a second before making up his mind.

The internet says that the cold war hurts relationships, so for his own little girl, Arnold had only one method, when she was angry, he would coax her.

The next second, Hannah was already enveloped in a broad and warm embrace.

But she still kept her body rigid, trying to maintain distance, her cheeks puffed slightly, her eyes filled with a resentful sorrow, yet her words defiant, "You want a hug, huh?"

Arnold nodded.

She flashed a satisfied smile, but quickly remembered to cool her expression, mocking Arnold’s earlier demeanor, "Go back and hug."

Yes, it wasn’t just anger.

It was a particularly tenacious grudge.

Arnold felt that probably all the patience of his life had been spent on his little girl, so he found her willfulness and temperamental behavior especially adorable.

He caught her soft, small hands and held them in his own palm, the eyes behind the lenses twinkling with amusement, "Are you angry?"

Hannah didn’t look at him, her voice low, "Obviously, you are the one who’s angry."

Arnold wasn’t surprised to hear this and took his time to explain, "Not angry, just jealous."

It was virtually unthinkable for a man like Arnold to admit his jealousy, especially given that he was the Second Young Master Simmons, famous for his aloofness towards women and indifference towards his kin.

So when Hannah actually heard these two words coming from the man’s mouth, she couldn’t help but be shocked.

Before, she would have to "interrogate" him repeatedly before he would nod in acknowledgment.

This time, he said it on his own.

Hannah was very surprised.

Really very surprised.

Her black eyes wide and round, she blinked gently, her eyes glistening attractively, "Arnold, what did you just say?"

Arnold sighed, his gaze falling on the girl’s slightly disheveled collar, her skin pale and smooth like warm jade.

His voice sounded helpless and indulgent, "I got jealous because I saw you standing with Jimmy Simmons."
