Chapter 904: Chapter 904 Director Position_1

Once the final effects were revealed, even "The Palace Wall", this big-budget production, couldn’t match such a level of luxury.

The previously underestimated and mediocre show instantly became upscale.

A bunch of actors who had left were regretting and wanting to come back, but without exception, they were all rejected.

People then began to inquire about the identity of this magnate, but unfortunately, no one could find out anything; they only speculated that someone was likely about to be promoted.

As for who was being promoted...

Everybody had a clear idea.

Arnold Simmons, who seldom spent lavishly on his young lady, found this expenditure quite delightful; what others called a fortune was but a mere trifle to him.

On the other side, Tiffany Lynch from the drama crew naturally also got wind of this.

Anger clouded her judgment, and she couldn’t resist calling Jimmy Simmons right then.

It was only after the call was answered that she realized her mood was off, and she had to suppress her jealousy and anger, pretending to say, "Your uncle is really good to Hannah Winter, I heard he spent a lot of money on the drama crew she’s in."

Jimmy Simmons detected the implication in Tiffany Lynch’s words and immediately felt uninterested, idly scribbling on a document, he replied nonchalantly, "He is indeed quite generous."

Tiffany Lynch felt awkward and changed the subject, "Jimmy, when are you coming over to see me?"

Jimmy Simmons tossed aside the pen in his hand with a careless demeanor, "Miss me?"

Such straightforward words were something George River had never said before.

Blushing at once, Tiffany Lynch replied shyly, "I haven’t seen you in a while."

Jimmy Simmons stretched a hand to rub his somewhat aching knee, speaking casually, "I’ll come over when I have time, you focus on your filming."

Tiffany Lynch then uttered some words of concern, trying hard to display her tenderness and thoughtfulness.

Jimmy Simmons responded to each one.

After hanging up the phone, the smile on his face faded.

The demeanor that Tiffany Lynch had, which he once adored, was now somewhat tiresome to him.

Though both George River and Jimmy Simmons had been admirers of Tiffany Lynch, there was a fundamental difference between them.

George River was accustomed to disguising himself with a perfect façade. A stand-in for his left hand and true love for his right; disposing of either seemed profoundly affectionate to him, and he played this game transparently.

But Jimmy Simmons was much more straightforward; he was truly callous, as seen in the original plot, where even during the period when he secretly loved Tiffany Lynch, it didn’t stop him from changing girlfriends one after another.

He seemed unreliable.

A major reason why Tiffany Lynch got the man’s heart in the end in the original story was largely due to the allure of the unattainable.

Unfortunately, without George River, Tiffany Lynch was without recourse, and she naturally lost interest in playing the push-and-pull game with Jimmy Simmons.

Instead, she wanted to hold on to him tightly and positioned herself as Mrs. Young Madam of the Simmons family. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

By this step in the story, all the characters had deviated from the main storyline.

Jinlian saw this and kept asking Hannah, "When are you going back?"

But every time, Hannah would just rub its bald head and then say, "The time isn’t right yet."

Jinlian heaved a sigh.

Hannah then told it, "Thinking too much will make your head bald."

Scared of going bald, Jinlian dared not dwell on it any longer and cheerfully went off to dance.

The crew of "The Kite" had everything ready.

The only thing that was missing was a director to fill the vacant spot.

After Arnold Simmons’ grand gesture, people in the industry even discussed the possibility of hiring a well-known director, maybe even one who won a global award last year.
