Chapter 873: Chapter 873 The Circle is Really Chaotic_1
The gaunt man had no choice but to explain it to him again. Although he didn’t go into every little detail, he spoke in broad strokes.
After listening, the man could only sigh and say, "This circle is really chaotic."
This was no longer a situation that could be explained away by a simple love triangle.
While they were talking about this, someone else arrived at the door.
Amongst their wealthy second-generation peers, most knew each other to some degree, often arranging to meet for drinks or to hobnob with celebrities.
Today it’s your turn to organize; tomorrow it’s mine. They’re all acquaintances when you get down to it, just indulging in food, drink, and fun, ignorant and unskilled, but with enough family wealth to squander for several lifetimes.
The man who had taken the initiative to organize today’s gathering was the same gaunt man who had spoken earlier. Seeing the person at the door, he was startled and slapped his forehead, "Oh no, how could George River come here while Louis is still in the back room? If those two run into each other..."
Gaunt man: Big trouble!
Others: Let’s go watch the drama!

Not long after George River left, Jackie Qualls also had to leave for work reasons.
Their showdown had only just begun, and though Jackie had been prepared for a long time, some things still required his personal attention.
Louis Snyder was the happiest amongst them all.
With the two annoying guys gone, the remaining time naturally belonged to him and Hannah.
That night, he moved out of his hotel and into the room next to Hannah’s.
The young man had a youthful, childlike face, and when he smiled, he was both sweet and well-behaved. It didn’t take long for him to become well acquainted with all of Hannah’s staff.
Everyone treated him like a well-mannered little brother, without any suspicion.
Occasionally, Louis would ask about Hannah, and the crowd would tease him, "Looks like Louis has taken a liking to our Hannah as well. Your fans would probably be heartbroken if they knew."
Louis looked up towards Hannah, who was shooting a scene in the distance, a faint blush spreading across his face as he lowered his voice, "Sister is so beautiful, it’s impossible not to like her."
Hannah’s assistant, who held her coat, couldn’t help but crane her neck to eavesdrop at his words, "So Louis, are you also a fan of Sister Winter’s beauty?"
In reality, the assistant was a few years older than Hannah but had been captivated the first time he saw her auditioning for the role of a female general, escorted by Jack Stewart—a sight he would never forget.
His calling her "Sister" was purely out of being overpowered by Hannah’s presence.
Louis looked over, his gaze falling on the coat in the assistant’s arms before he looked away and lowered his head, "No... it’s not like that..."
The young man seemed flustered and nervous as he explained, which only made the others laugh.
"Alright, Quin, stop teasing Louis. You know he is thin-skinned. Sure, Hannah is certainly beautiful, but how could our Louis be someone who only looks at appearances?"
The assistant scratched his head, "I was just speaking off the cuff." He looked at Louis apologetically, "Don’t take it to heart, Louis. I was just joking before."
Louis shook his head, his eyes clear and bright, "It’s fine."
The assistant breathed a sigh of relief. He always felt like he was bullying a child when interacting with Louis, as if anything he did would make him feel guilty, now understanding why Louis’s fans were so protective of him, like a mother bear with her cub.
But the assistant still felt a bit uneasy thinking about how Louis’s fans targeted Hannah so viciously.
