Chapter 859: Chapter 859: Innocent Boy_1
A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth.
It came with a self-loathing.
Only at this moment did Hannah finally meet the young man’s gaze again, snatching back her belt and said indifferently, "Louis, don’t you think this scene today feels familiar?"
The soft belt grazed the wound on the back of his hand, bringing a burning pain, but Louis remained silent.
He hung his head, lips tightly pursed, understanding the meaning behind Hannah’s words, and admitted in a low voice, "Sister, I was the one who was wrong before."
More than once, he had used Hannah for his own gain, without considering the consequences. All because back then, he only had Tiffany Lynch in his heart.
But now it was different.
After a moment of silence, he spoke again, as if struck by a thought, earnestly saying, "Sister, please don’t be angry, okay? If it will make you a little happier, I can go back and let that old woman take advantage of me again."
The young man smiled, but the smile carried a strangely naive and stubborn quality.
Hannah remained unmoved, and tossed out lightly, "Then go ahead."
The look in the young man’s eyes faded, and he gazed at Hannah before him, appearing hurt. The sea breeze blew against his white shirt, emphasizing his slim figure.
This fragile, crystal-like demeanor undoubtedly touched the hearts of countless young girls.
Louis’s frame tensed, a gloomy look passing through his eyes, but it was only for a moment, soon replaced by a look of grievance, "Would you bear to?"
Hannah glanced at him, her gaze falling on the young man’s seemingly clean and clear eyes, and she said lazily, "What’s there to bear? You’re the fan’s innocent little boy, not mine."
The persona constructed by the company, fans ate it up; they protected Louis like hens protecting their chicks, treating every little disturbance as a looming threat.
The first rule for fans was that any woman who came within ten meters of ’little brother’ was a flood beast, an enemy of the fan community, and must be insulted until she fell into depression and left the circle.
Several female artists had suffered from this before.
However, when it came to Hannah, the situation was different; compared to the fighting power of the two fan bases, Hannah’s followers were the ones who dominated.
Louis pursed his lips, "That’s just what the fans think. If Sister doesn’t like it, I can make them shut up."
"How will you make them shut up?" Hannah raised her eyebrows, her smile radiant, her red dress enhancing her charm and allure, "Are you thinking of learning from Mr. Qualls?"
Louis moved his lips but ended up closing them again, unable to speak.
Jackie Qualls dared to do that because he had the capital to; a capable movie star, he didn’t need to rely on maintaining a single persona or milking his fans for money.
This was the first time Louis ever felt jealous of Jackie’s status and position.
After a while, he finally spoke again, "Sister, wait for me. I won’t be worse than Jackie Qualls."
Hannah lifted her hand and gently tugged at the tie around the young man’s neck, pulling firmly to bring him closer.
She faced that feigned innocent smile and curled her lips in a smile, "Little brother, behave yourself. Sister isn’t interested in waiting for you to grow up. You should be a good innocent boy, with so many people protecting your chastity, how nice is that?"
Louis caught the faint scent on Hannah, his eyes falling on her vivid red lips. Even though the tightness around his neck was uncomfortable, he still wanted to draw closer without any regard.
He reached out and grabbed Hannah’s wrist, his voice a hoarse whisper, his gaze intense, "Sister, you know, I only care about you."
The touch in the palm of his hand was smooth and cool, almost capturing all of Louis’s attention.
