Chapter 824: Chapter 824 No Patience_1

Although she said this, Lily Davis did not hesitate to take the milk tea from the boy’s hands and hold it in the palm of her hand.

The boy’s face was beaming with pure innocence, his cheeks slightly reddened to complete the image of unripe youth. However, deep in his eyes lay undisguised disgust and resistance. He spoke slowly, "I’m sorry, Sister Lily, my manager watches me closely, and I only managed to buy this. If you don’t like it... if you don’t like it, I can buy something else."

Louis Snyder’s lips were tightly pursed as he looked extremely nervous, reaching out to take back the milk tea from Lily’s hands.

Lily quickly stepped aside to avoid him and objected, "That won’t do, since you gave it to me, it’s mine now; how can you just take it back at will?"

"Then... I..."

The boy, evidently not used to this kind of situation, became completely flustered.

"Alright, alright, did I say I blamed you? Louis, why can’t you take a joke?" Lily felt even more attracted to him when she saw him like this, "You’re really a good person, Louis. Today I came across a female idol, that Hannah Winter who’s been super popular lately. So arrogant and annoying. A female idol like her dares to show attitude in front of me? I’ll teach her how to behave later on. Let’s see what her fans will brag about then!"

After venting her long list of complaints, Lily indeed felt much better. Seeing that Louis remained calm and quiet, she assumed he agreed with her.

She thought that Louis bringing her milk tea probably meant he was interested in her. It wouldn’t hurt to get a little closer, so she raised her hand, intending to tousle Louis’s hair.

After all, the sight of the boy’s blushing face was adorable, irresistibly invoking the urge to get closer.

However, the expected soft touch never came, and instead, her arm felt pain.

For a moment, the undisguised repulsion and loathing in the boy’s eyes almost made Lily think she was seeing things. Although the milk tea in her hand was still warm, the boy’s gaze was so cold it seemed to freeze her blood.

Startled, Lily stepped back, and the milk tea in her hand looked like it was about to smash onto the ground, but the next second it was caught by a slender, pale hand.

The sudden appearance of Hannah undoubtedly eased the tension in the air.

The boy, who just a moment ago had a demonic air about him, now appeared once again harmless and obedient, even softening his voice slightly as he addressed Hannah, "Sister."

Hannah glanced at him, then turned her gaze to Lily, who was still not fully recovered from the shock, and smiled slightly, "Miss Davis, do you still want your milk tea?"

Lily came to her senses, her face pale. Seeing Louis’s current demeanor, she began to doubt if she had been hallucinating earlier, but the pain in her arm reminded her that Louis had indeed lashed out.

Being accustomed to pride, she couldn’t take this kind of treatment. Her momentary fondness for Louis disappeared in an instant, and her feelings towards Hannah turned sour, feeling shame and irritation, she questioned, "Louis, what do you mean by this? And, have you two known each other for a while? Did you team up to scheme against me? Hannah Winter, I didn’t expect you to be so shameless."

"Miss Davis!" replied the normally docile boy coldly, his eyes as frightening as before, silencing Lily, "I don’t like being touched by others. Hitting you was unintentional, and it has nothing to do with ’sister’. If you are upset, you can contact my manager later, and he will compensate you for the medical expenses."

It was clear that Louis Snyder had no patience or sympathy for someone as brash as Lily.
