Chapter 798: Chapter 798: Exposed

Her expression changed swiftly as she showed all the signs of being a fervent fan, her chubby cheeks puffing in excitement.

She made sure to continue eating while she dished out her praises.

"Stop flattering people and focus on your food," Arnold Simmons said, passing her a dish.

"I’m not being flattering, I’m being sincere," Hannah replied, leaning in closer.

After a satisfying meal, Arnold went on to work in the living room while Hannah lounged across his lap, engrossed in the television.

The latest episode of the show ’Find Friends’ was showing.

Matthew Quach’s character was initially cold and standoffish, rarely speaking. In contrast, audiences found Phoebe Sherton and the other lad with a pineapple haircut more pleasant.

There was only one thing. Matthew Quach’s youthful looks were quite appealing.

—I bet fifty cups of bubble tea that he’s going to be a real heart-throb in the future!

—Why is he so stubborn at such a young age? Owen Hanson didn’t do anything to upset him, so why is he targeting him?

—There’s no need to curse the little ones. Doesn’t your brother know why he’s being targeted? Wasn’t he looking for extra attention in the previous episode?

—I suppose Matthew Quach is actually quite protective of his sister, right? Even if he doesn’t admit it out loud, his eyes follow Hannah wherever she goes.

—Hannah Winter surely has some advantageous resources. She gains a regular role on a variety show so soon after her debut, impressive.

—Stop being contrarian in the comments. Weren’t you all the ones not supporting this web show from the beginning?

—Can you all stop arguing and just peacefully watch the children play?

Barrages of comments drifted across the screen. Although the live discussion was certainly more lively than watching the program alone, she couldn’t deny some comments were distasteful.

Hannah gave them a brief glance and then turned off the live-comments, somewhat disinterested.

There were plenty of people criticizing her, repeating the same old comments, none of which had any impact on her.

She realized it had been quite a while since her last interview.

As the sounds of laughter and cheerful chatter came from the TV, Hannah shifted to a more comfortable position, feeling sleepy.

Arnold pulled a blanket over her.

She idly toyed with Arnold’s clothes as she started to feel bored. It didn’t take long for her phone to ring, which she answered right there, without leaving the room.

The next moment, Jack Stewart was yelling from the phone like a pig about to be slaughtered.

"Hannah Winter! Where have you run off to?"

Having somewhat anticipated his reaction, Hannah immediately covered the phone as soon as she heard Jack’s voice, looked towards Arnold, who was still working, and moved to another location.

"What’s wrong?"

Jack Stewart sighed, then relayed what had happened concisely and accurately.

Apparently, their disguise at the airport today had been exposed, creating quite a stir, and even making it onto a trending list.

There had been numerous occasions when paparazzi and fans had caused a fuss, but this time, most of the spectators were just making fun of the situation.

Jack’s voice sounded deflated, "I did say that this disguise could fool paparazzi or fans. But when your true fans are involved, it could be exposed in a matter of minutes. I was identified before even leaving the airport. If it weren’t for some fans who recognized me as your manager, I could have been tied up and sent to the police station."

After all, everyone was expecting Hannah, a sweet young lady with long hair and an ethereal aura. Nobody expected that when the disguise came off, it would turn out to be a six-foot taciturn man.

No one could really blame them for their reaction.

The initial plan had been for Jack to impersonate Hannah for safety reasons. If anything were to happen in the crowded airport, Jack would simply remove the disguise and leave unnoticed.
