Chapter 773: Chapter 773: It’s Better When They Start Fighting
Perhaps he could be the one playing the role with Hannah.
Thinking about it now, he was still annoyed.
Hannah could see through Louis’s thoughts at a glance, she chuckled lightly, "The male lead for ’Fairy Maiden’ has been determined, it’s Jackie Qualls. You going won’t make a difference."
The boy’s expression froze on his face, cold yet somewhat distressed.
Mentally cursing him, of course, old men play such ruthless tricks.
Hannah stood up, picked up a mirror from the side, and glanced at herself. Her red lips slightly curled in a beguiling smile. "Therefore, it doesn’t really matter who the male lead is. Your sister here is a good actress and pretty too. I’m bound to hit the trending list sooner or later, even if we change the male lead."
Her familiar confidence was shining through.
Louis rubbed his somewhat numb leg, slowly stood up, and lowered his eyes, his voice unexpectedly carried a hint of dangerous chill. He asked with a shallow smile, "So, you can be with anyone, sister?"
"What kind of talk is that?" Hannah laughed while holding the mirror against his chest, her eyes not matching her mirth. "My taste in men is very high, not anyone will do."
A cold sensation spread from his chest, soon replaced by a tingling feeling.
Louis raised his hand, grabbing the delicate, soft wrist. Before he could speak again, there was a knock at the door.
The door was slightly ajar and not fully closed, a few knocks and it immediately swung open halfway.
Looking at their entwined hands, Jackie’s gaze finally fell on Hannah.
The man maintained his affable expression, his voice equally gentle. "Hannah, it’s time to start shooting."
Having said that, he looked at Louis sitting beside her, his head slightly nodding, his eyes meaningful.
Their eyes met, undercurrents swirling beneath.
Hannah retreated her hand, standing aside casually, the mirror in her hand went up again. Her slender fingers lightly touched her rosy lips.
Her smile blossomed, she was enjoying the drama.
*
Waiting till she returned to her room at night, Jinlian recalls the daytime drama and couldn’t help commenting, "That was really thrilling!"
It rubbed its own nose, already on the verge of a nosebleed, and then threw out its doubt, "Master, are you really not afraid of them fighting?"
"Would fighting be bad?" she thought of something, her hand combing her hair paused, and she smiled subtly, "It would be better if they fight."
Jinlian blinked, turned its back, and began to gnaw on its claws.
Yes, her master loved to watch the excitement.
It held its head in its paws.
Hannah lightly pushed the ball of fur on the table from behind, "Where are we at in the story?"
Jinlian staggered under the push and was about to complain when it met the eyes of its master, quickly bringing up the data obediently.
"Drift rate 68%."
"How about the live stream?"
"Live stream program detected to be running normally."
Jinlian read out a standard message with a sense of grievance.
It had originally thought it could make a fortune from live streaming, it had already prepared to go back and mock Dalang’s grumpy cat.
But instead of making any money, now it had to conspire with its master to cause trouble.
Whining...
As Jinlian wiped at its nonexistent tears, Hannah didn’t have the time to care about him, she said, "Turn on the live stream."
Jinlian continued to whine and it took a few seconds to react, then desperately clutched the broadcasting camera, "Master, have you gone mad?"
Live stream now?
Are we courting death?
Hannah glanced at it indifferently, Jinlian instantly cowered and said in a small voice, "Master, live streaming now will attract the interstellar patrol."
"It won’t."
Jinlian insisted, "It will."
Hannah’s lips curled. "It won’t."
