Chapter 764: Chapter 764: Anything Can Happen in A Dream
Her voice was soft, her lips slightly parted, reminiscent of the appealing bloom of a flower under the moonlight, sheathed in a delicate veil. Her faint, delicate scent bewitched the heart.
Louis Snyder pushed slightly forward, leaning towards the face which was so lovely and exquisite that it almost made him lose control. In a voice that was soft and sweet, he said, "Sister, you have to believe me, that day will come. What do you think about us playing a couple then?"
He seemed to want to rest his entire self in Hannah’s embrace, his dependence on her was overwhelming. The familiar scent emanating from her gave him a sense of security.
He hugged her gently, afraid to use too much force for fear that this might all be a dream. His face was pale and fragile, displaying a hint of fatigue.
He said, "sister, I want to be with you forever."
Hannah looked out of the window. Warm, yellow shadows danced on each and every leaf. She softly said, "Louis, everything is possible in a dream."
The light in his eyes dimmed slightly, and reluctantly, he let go of her. However, his hand was still tightly gripped onto her. He showed a soft smile and said, "Are you teasing me, sister?"
Hannah looked down at him and glimpsed the unhealthy obsession and stubbornness in his eyes. She suddenly realized that it might be impossible to change his mind.
After a brief pause, she resorted to using the same old indifferent line, "You can think what you want."
Louis paused momentarily, and then he laughed. His voice was filled with coquettish affection, "Sister, you’re really the best."
Hannah’s face was expressionless.
Yes, he’s hopeless.
As some staff from their team were sharing the car ride back, Louis was much quieter than usual. Only his gaze would occasionally drift towards Hannah who was resting with her eyes closed.
His eyes held a depth of attachment that only he could perceive.
With his pallid complexion and day-to-day persona, everyone felt deep sympathy for him now that he was injured. They couldn’t help but express their concerns.
Louis accepted all their words dutifully, behaving extraordinarily well.
This led to a sigh of admiration from a crew member, "Louis, your dedication is inspiring. Despite being injured, you’re still committed to tomorrow’s recording..."
The young man shyly smiled and lowered his eyes. His long eyelashes fluttered, showing a somewhat bashful appearance.
The car moved smoothly along the rural cement road. The crew member saw through the rearview mirror how Louis was looking at Hannah. The look wasn’t common for simple juniors or seniors.
This raised his curiosity, and he couldn’t resist gossiping. He asked, "Louis, have you known Hannah for a long time? You seem to have a good relationship."
After he spoke, he glanced at the rearview mirror again. He met the young man’s gaze and touched his nose awkwardly.
A flash of annoyance crossed Louis’s eyes, but his tone was gentle, "Yes, Hannah and I have known each other for a long time. We’ve always had a good relationship."
His nonchalant response left room for interpretation. The crew member wanted to ask more questions, but Louis interjected: "Ms.Shaw, please concentrate on driving."
The crew member felt slightly embarrassed and uncomfortable. He dared not ask any more questions and decided to focus on driving.
Once the car was finally quiet, Louis looked again at the woman sitting next to him. His gaze was affectionate. He looked at her immaculate, radiant skin, her exquisite small nose, and her red lips which resembled the bloom of a red plum in the snowy white world.
Her subtle, alluring scent was wrapped tightly by the night wind and delivered right in front of him.
No intoxicating spring breeze could compare to her captivating allure.
He lowered his head, his gaze resting on her soft, white hands dangling at her side.
