Chapter 745: Chapter 745: Give Me a Smile

"Save that sentiment for your parents. If you lack love, I wouldn’t mind making up for your childhood regrets."

A passing staff member overheard their conversation and couldn’t help but laugh.

Noticing the attention, Tiffany Lynch suppressed the curve at the corners of her mouth and said gently, "Lucy does have a knack for making jokes."

Lucy Taylor gave a forced smile, "You’re just as annoying as ever."

Pretending to be noble, pure as a white lotus, full of self proclaimed class.

All of these were perfectly embodied by Tiffany Lynch, who, like those living in old societies, looked down on everyone, putting them into different classes, herself considered the highest.

Always standing on the high ground of morality, yet pretending to be gentle and considerate, playing the victim to win over people’s sympathy, coercing others to contribute their effort, and eventually, she ends up as the only saint.

However, one cannot deny that there are people who are fond of this type. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"I just feel that in a team, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. We just happened to encounter something we’re not good at, so it’s all about helping each other. You guys can also have more opportunities to shine. Isn’t that good? Lucy, you don’t need to over-interpret this."

Lucy Taylor almost went mad because of Tiffany Lynch’s thick-skinned nature.

Back then, a group of people, fearing embarrassment, dumped the hardest parts of the song on Hannah; and now, they even had the audacity to act as if they were doing her a favor.

Just as Lucy Taylor was about to burst out in anger, she suddenly felt a soft hand on her shoulder.

Turning around, she saw Hannah had already come over; eyes twinkling with laughter, but her gaze was directed at Tiffany Lynch, who was wearing a gentle expression.

Speaking softly, "Is that so? Then Tiffany, tell me, within our group, there are only two things — singing and dancing, which one are you good at?"

Tiffany Lynch froze, unable to answer.

Because be it within the group or in the eyes of the fans, Hannah was undeniably the lead vocalist of Smile 9, and Lucy Taylor, owing to her overseas training experience, was a great dancer.

In fact, among the nine members of the group, apart from the three who came in only because they have been promoted enormously, the others were all quite talented.

Hannah hooked her arm around Lucy Taylor’s and turned her body slightly to lean on her shoulder. Her short fringe softly touched her cheek, "Didn’t Tiffany just say that everyone in the group has their strengths and weaknesses? Since you’re not choosing either singing or dancing, how about you rap."

While speaking, she turned her head to look at Lucy Taylor, "Do you have the lyrics on you?"

Lucy Taylor got the hint and pulled out the lyrics from her pocket without a second thought, placing it in front of Tiffany Lynch.

There was a long string of words on the paper. Even other members of the group had trouble reciting the words, let alone perform it on stage.

The people, who were flaunting the previous "we let you sing as a favor to you" attitude, abruptly quietened down.

Tiffany Lynch maintained her smile, but under the eyes of everyone around, a hint of gloom clouded her gaze," Hannah, we were just joking around."

Despite the ongoing chaos backstage, a lot of people had noticed the situation.

Internal disharmony in Smile 9 was well-known to everyone, but to their surprise, the in-fighting among the group was more exciting than the daily online fan quarrels.

"A joke?" Hannah straightened her body and wiped the smile off her face. "But I don’t find it funny. Why don’t you show me a laugh?"

This probably meant shooting one’s own foot with a stone.
