Chapter 636: Chapter 636: Training People

Tiffany Lynch replied with a cold huff, "No matter how beautiful a woman is, men cannot be tied down by a pretty face."

Some men seek a thrill; an alluring face might momentarily draw their interest. But once they attain her, the excitement they feel when secretly seeing someone else – even if the new person isn’t as attractive – ensues.

After all, the forbidden fruit is always the most tempting.

Hannah nodded, "You’re right, but that’s you, not me. I’m much more beautiful than you."

Her words infuriated Tiffany to the point where she could hardly breathe.

Unable to contain her anger, Tiffany turned and walked away.

She scolded herself for having a conversation with such a lunatic.

After two months of a tumultuous ride since their debut, they finally got to record their first single.

Although half the song and music video had already been recorded, due to the issues with Tiffany and the other two, all their previous work had to be scrapped.

The leader of the group was to be Hannah, no question about it.

No one dared to oppose it.

Tiffany was squeezed into a corner, a position so insignificant that one could hardly spot her without a magnifying glass. Yet, Teresa Gordon still felt it wasn’t enough and discussed with the crew how to further reduce the screen time of the ’Three Shadows’.

The public’s resentment toward the three was still high. Initially, Teresa kept them just to stir up some controversies. She knew exactly when and how to make her move.

At least, right now, those three should stay quietly in the corner.

With Hannah at the forefront, Teresa was satisfied. Whenever she met someone, she’d brag, "This is the real deal. She doesn’t pale in comparison to any foreign boy or girl band."

In the camera lens, Hannah was indeed the most eye-catching of all.

Even the layers of blooming flowers as the backdrop could not compete with her.

After a while, Teresa’s brow furrowed, "Still, some people are dragging the group down."

The director of the MV knew exactly who she was referring to. He chuckled and casually replied, "You’re too demanding. These days, as long as a pop group is acceptable, fans will buy into it."

"That may be true," Teresa sighed and shook her head, "I know the mindsets of these young girls. They all want to be famous, but they don’t put in the effort. They’re good at freeloading. If my personally trained trainees ever dared to be this arrogant. Back when I was abroad..."

Once again, Teresa started reminiscing her experiences abroad.

She talked about how strict the trainee systems abroad were, the rigorous demands on the trainees, and how they had to control their diet from the age of eleven or twelve.

Everyone listened with great interest.

Throughout the shooting, Teresa rebuked many people.

The only ones in the group whose overall performance was up to par were Hannah and Lucy Taylor.

The rest were not so good.

Teresa was relentless when she scolded them. She rebuked a few girls until they broke down in tears, with Sunny Lee being the first to crack.

Hannah sat off to the side. Only when she noticed Sunny tearfully looking at her did she stand up.

Once she rose, Teresa’s scolding ceased immediately. She turned to look at Hannah, "Hannah, is there something you need?"

Hannah replied, "I’m tired, when can we leave?"

"It’s about time." Teresa said. Then she turned her head to the others and dropped a line, "All of you better go back and practice hard, heard me?"

Everybody replied in a half-hearted manner.

Teresa left, and everyone heaved a sigh of relief.

However, they didn’t appreciate Hannah’s intervention from before. The entire crew rushed out, faster than anyone else.
