Chapter 593: Chapter 593: All Changed

When had she ever been treated this way by George River?

Since she came back to the country, whenever she met with George River, he always treated her as if she were his most precious treasure, worried that even the slightest thing would upset her.

But now he had actually left her alone in a restaurant. The more she thought about it, the angrier she got.

She decided to keep her distance, not contacting George River for several days.

She was waiting for him to come and apologize.

Tiffany Lynch was used to being spoiled. Even though she knew her current situation couldn’t allow her temper tantrums, she refused to back down.

Even her agent couldn’t stand by any longer, and advised Tiffany, "The scandal about the behind-the-scenes manipulation is getting heated online right now. In fact, some fans and netizens have teamed up demanding to reveal the real rankings. It’s hard to grasp what stand the officials are taking. If this goes on, chances are, the real ranks might be disclosed."

Whether it was a talent show, or just a matter of the entertainment industry, they had always turned a blind eye. But this time, the incident was too widespread and had caused public outrage.

No matter what, given the pressure from the netizens, the final outcome would not be in their favor.

"If it doesn’t work, you can go find Director River again. Only he can handle this well. By the way, what did he say when you saw him last time?"

At the mention of that incident, Tiffany felt a pain in her chest. She was frustrated by it, especially at the thought of the way the restaurant waitstaff had looked at her, like they would look at a gold digger who was ignored after desperately trying to cling.

As for George River’s attitude...

Tiffany had no intention of telling her agent about what George had said that day. Instead, she lost her temper, "You’re my agent. Aren’t these issues you should handle for me? Why am I always the one to step in? What do I need you for? I might as well replace you!"

The agent hung her head, not daring to argue.

Seeing her react this way, Tiffany couldn’t resist a sarcastic remark, "And here you claim to be a top agent, but you can’t even handle a small thing like this!"

The agent was also upset. If it were any other celebrity she used to work with, who would dare talk to her in such a loud voice? But considering Tiffany’s relationship with George River, the agent could only swallow her resentment.

This was not a small matter at all. Once the talent show scandal became fully exposed, it would not only influence the program but also the fake trainees.

At that point, any attempt to clear their names would be useless because it’s a done deal.

If the list hadn’t been released, and there was no solid evidence, the fans could argue on their behalf. But right now, the situation was indeed very bad.

Tiffany threw a fit for a while before calming down. "No matter what, you HAVE to figure out how to handle this."

The agent kept quiet.

Tiffany looked at her again, "Pack up, get ready to go back to the set."

She hadn’t finished her scenes for "Fairy" yet. She had been putting off the director’s call asking her to come back, but now that she was rested up, she was ready to return.

However, her agent hesitated, looking troubled, "Tiffany, they said that you may have been working too much recently and suggested that you take a break."

Tiffany was taken aback, "What do you mean?"

The agent looked away, "The director called just now... and said that you don’t need to come back to the set for now."

Earlier she didn’t want to return, but now she couldn’t.
