Chapter 580: Chapter 580: I Also Suspect You
Leaving would mean to act alone, to face danger alone.
The room was utterly silent.
After a while, footsteps suddenly came from outside, along with the sound of an axe scraping the ground.
A monster was coming.
Allan Quin quickly turned off the light, signaling everyone to keep quiet.
The footsteps outside were getting closer, passing by the door, then leaving.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but the next second, there was a loud bang at the door.
The already unstable wooden door swayed, showing signs of getting smashed open.
——Damn, is the monster going to storm in?
——Is this game too real? I’m starting to panic.
The monster outside seemed to be testing something. It stopped after hitting the door once, but no one dared to get up and lock the door anymore.
In the corner, Tiffany Lynch looked at Hannah beside her, lowering her voice, "Hannah Winter, you’re the special patient, aren’t you?"
Hannah looked at her, replying indifferently, "Funny, I thought you were the mad one."
Tiffany Lynch choked with rage.
Outside, the sound of hammering on the door began again.
After two rounds, the door was forced open.
Everyone was ready to flee, rushing to the door preparing to rush out, only to discover, to their horror, it wasn’t one monster standing outside the door, but a group.
Everyone tried to retreat in panic, but they found someone standing behind them.
Moonlight spilled from the window, casting the only light in the room, bringing an endless chill.
"Can I ’kill’ you all?"
The voice was soft and harmless; a pair of shiny, innocent, black eyes, but the words that came out made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
——Total annihilation.
In the live-streaming room, everyone was stunned.
Even Adam Landon fell silent, his face a complex mix of emotions.
Game over. Hannah held the spoils of victory in her hands, as happy as a squirrel with a stash of food, "Ah, with this, I can craft a pure gold mirror."
Hayes Edwards sat beside, looking sullen.
Adam Landon announced the results of the game, along with everyone’s identity.
Everyone’s faces displayed "Damn, we can play it like this?"
The doctors of this hospital were not really doctors. They used mental patients for experiments, which is why the hospital purchased such a large quantity of sedatives.
A major fire later took almost all lives, leaving only five patients alive. They lived in the abandoned hospital, which is why new supplies can be found in the hospital.
Those people were relentless and sent "doctors" to restart the hospital. The "patients" had to fight for their rights; all the noise was to deter them.
As for the special patient... it was Hayes Edwards.
That was why everybody was so surprised.
Hayes Edwards only felt weary, "Hannah saw through my identity from the beginning. She stole my identity card, disguised as a special patient, and commanded the monsters in the hospital to attack other people."
Actually, Hannah’s real identity was a patient.
Lucy Taylor was the first to express doubt, "If you’re a patient, why would you ’kill’ your own kind?"
Hannah shrugged, "I didn’t know who was my kind, so I could only ’kill’ all."
This reason... was irrefutable.
Adam Landon also posed his question, "Why did you hand over your choice to Ray Lee when you were in the escape room?"
This was obviously a foolish thing to do.
