Chapter 574: Chapter 574: No Password

The light dimmed, and everyone was too worried to figure out the combination locks in their hands, hurriedly looking for places to hide.

This was just the first round. Not many people had found the props yet, everything was still unclear, no one dared to launch an attack rashly.

First, they were afraid of "killing" the wrong person, and second, they were afraid of being "counter-killed".

Footsteps echoed around the place, some quick, some slow.

Probably someone had encountered the freaks in the hospital.

Everyone was running around the hospital together; the scene was quite chaotic.

But even so, it did not disrupt Hannah’s enthusiasm in looking for props.

She and Hayes Edwards headed towards the bathroom. In the end, they discovered a secret room at the far end.

There was a lock hanging on the wooden door––a combination lock.

Hayes was both anxious and frightened, "Why is there a combination lock everywhere, Hannah Winter, why don’t we just leave? If the freaks come, we won’t be able to escape. Do you know what this is? It’s called sitting ducks!"

Hannah, still confidently examining the lock, had no plans to leave.

"Even if you leave now, there’s nowhere for you to go."

As soon as she finished speaking, Louis Snyder and Tiffany Lynch, who had been waiting outside the door, also ran in.

Louis spoke up, "There’s more than one monster outside, someone’s already been eliminated."

Tiffany Lynch stood anxiously on the side, her eyes vigilantly watching the rear.

The bathroom had no door, and they could be seen at a glance. She couldn’t help but urge, "Hannah Winter, hurry up."

Hannah ignored her, walked to the side, picked up a wooden stick from the ground and came back.

Hayes was stunned, "Hannah Winter, you want to..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Hannah had already hoisted the stick and used it to pry the lock.

The lock was new, but the door was not.

Everyone was stunned.

Tiffany was the first to step forward, our tone was accusing, "Hannah, is this really appropriate? The props belong to the show’s crew, and if you destroy them, it will affect others..."

"The lock doesn’t have a combination in the first place." Hannah turned to look at Tiffany behind her, her lips curling lightly, "I said, you have to use your brain."

After she finished speaking, she kicked the wooden door open and walked straight in.

The room inside was pitch black.

Not only the people present, but even the staff behind the monitor were a bit taken aback.

Sure enough, the live broadcast room was full of comments praising Hannah’s bravery.

The staff looked at Adam Landon next to them, trying to say something.

Adam removed his glasses, lightly wiped them and put them back on, his tone was steady, "The lock itself doesn’t have a combination. Besides brute force, there was no other way to open it."

This was Adam’s habit when conducting the show.

He liked to create things outside the rules of the game, and hoped to see the breakthroughs of the participants, rather than sticking to the rules.

The secret room was small, but fortunately, there was light.

The room was full of messy files, which should be records of patient’s information and medication records.

Louis casually picked up one, "The medication records written here all stopped five years ago, so no one has been here for five years."

A fire five years ago burned down most of the things in the mental hospital, including people.

Tiffany Lynch couldn’t help but complain a bit, "It’s so dirty here, there’s nothing. If I knew earlier, I wouldn’t have come."

Hayes glanced at her, "If you want to leave now, no one is stopping you."

Tiffany was so furious that her face turned white. She turned around and found Louis.

Before she could speak, Louis spoke first, "It’s not appropriate for us to leave now."

Tiffany Lynch didn’t expect Louis to say that, felt a bit angry too, and turned around to search for things on her own.
