Chapter 550: Chapter 550: Switching People

The director’s face didn’t look too good as he raised his megaphone and yelled, "Tiffany Lynch, learn from Hannah. Perform just like Hannah performs, understand?"

Tiffany Lynch’s face grew rigid, she bit her lip and nodded, her eyes falling on Jackie Qualls who was standing beside.

She was begging for help.

Jackie Qualls pretended not to see it, settled back in his seat, and said, "Let’s begin."

Tiffany Lynch bit her lip hard, a simple glance revealed Hannah, standing nearby, watching her with a smile.

They were both dressed in a single shade of red, yet they exuded two entirely different auras.

After several attempts, Tiffany Lynch’s performance remained stiff. The director simply called Hannah’s name, "You go and teach her how to play the role of a seductive woman properly."

Tiffany Lynch clenched the red gauze in her hands, prepared to reject the idea without a second thought.

Being guided by Hannah Winter in acting, wouldn’t that make her a laughingstock if the word got out!

But before she could open her mouth to speak, Jackie Qualls beat her to it. His voice was calm, "Switch roles, let Hannah take the stage. As long as she performs affected by my influence in post-production, having Hannah take the stage would yield better results."

He bluntly pointed out the problem.

Tiffany Lynch’s expression turned cold immediately, she couldn’t believe that Jackie Qualls would suggest switching roles right in front of her.

It was one thing for her not wanting to perform, but being asked to be replaced was another matter.

In fact, Director Lee had this idea too, but considering Tiffany Lynch’s feelings, he didn’t voice it. But now that Jackie Qualls took the initiative to propose, there was no reason for him not to go along, "Well then, let Hannah take over."

Tiffany Lynch didn’t expect the director to be so decisive, "Director?!"

Director Lee chuckled, "Let’s just let Hannah have a try. If you think you can perform better than her later, we can always film another take."

Before Tiffany Lynch could say anything, Director Lee had already turned his head and called for the makeup crew to prepare Hannah for her scene.

Even though she was unwilling, all she could do was angrily walk to one side. As she brushed past Hannah, she couldn’t help but sneer coldly.

Hannah, on the other hand, simply gave her a nonchalant smile.

Tiffany Lynch was even angrier now.

Since it was the only intimate scene in the entire play, although it wasn’t explicit, Director Lee thoughtfully cleared the set.

Only a few scattered staff members and a pile of equipment were left on the scene.

Her agent originally wanted to pull Tiffany Lynch away, for fear that she might freak out later due to embarrassment.

But Tiffany Lynch insisted on staying.

Before the shoot began, Hannah took off her coat and draped a layer of red gauze over herself. As she walked past Jackie Qualls, their eyes met.

On a whim, she suddenly said, "Mr. Qualls, how long do you reckon you can hold out without yelling ’cut’ this time?"

Jackie Qualls was taken aback. After he recovered, he clenched his fist and coughed lightly, "The last time was an accident."

Hannah nodded, took her place and said, "Well, I hope such ’accidents’ lessen, otherwise, I might start to suspect Mr. Qualls is trying to take advantage of me."

Her lighthearted words caused a tightness in Jackie Qualls’s chest. He smiled softly, "That won’t happen."

Hannah did not respond to him.

The shooting began.

The difficulty of this scene lied in the fact that Hannah couldn’t have any physical contact with Jackie Qualls, not even a light touch, despite being so close to him.

According to the script, the male lead was deeply trapped in an illusion, but he still had a charm given by the female lead. No demon could approach him.

The existence of this setting was mainly to meet the preferences of most of the audience.
