Chapter 546: Chapter 546: Adding Scenes
"Director, I’ve read today’s script and I have some thoughts of my own, can they be included?"
Richard Lee was a smart man, he saw through Tiffany Lynch’s intentions instantly, "Want to add some scenes?"
Tiffany chuckled,"Not exactly adding scenes, I just think the female lead, as a white lotus fairy who despises evil, would definitely be repulsed by the Demon Clan. Even having a big fight would be normal. Besides, wouldn’t an additional fight scene be more captivating?"
Richard Lee, busy tinkering with his equipment, couldn’t help but look over when he heard this, "You need to talk to Hannah about this. You are the leading lady today, even though I am the director, I wouldn’t dare make decisions about you without consulting her."
His words hinted at his discomfort from being forced to bring actors in the past.
Tiffany understood this very well. Her smile softened even more as she nodded, "Alright, I’ll discuss it with Hannah. I believe she won’t object."
After that, Tiffany climbed to her feet and walked away with her dress in hand.
As she walked away, Richard Lee ran into Jackie Qualls who came to watch the performance, he joked, "You’re not scheduled for any scene today."
"Just checking in."
He didn’t mention who he came to see, but Director Lee understood implicitly, following Jackie’s gaze, there was no one else but Hannah.
This guy is hopelessly in love.
He didn’t expect someone who spent so many years in acting would also be held captive by love.
Director Lee shook his head, repeated what happened earlier to Jackie, noticed his frown, and joked again, "Our leading lady is not an easy one to handle. You’ve known her for a while, hasn’t she always been this way?"
Having ambition isn’t a bad thing in this industry, it’s just that if one becomes overly obsessed with gains and losses, they could lose themselves in the process.
Jackie’s gaze drifted, falling upon Tiffany Lynch standing across from Hannah. From a distance, she seemed no different from the young girl she once was.
She was pure and innocent when younger, her eyes especially soft when she smiled, always giving off a clean and fresh vibe, like a delicate flower carefully nurtured in a greenhouse, full of spirit and life.
If it weren’t for the ticket exchange incidents, Tiffany Lynch would have probably become an online sensation through that tearful smile from years ago.
As for Hannah...she was probably being most unfairly maligned at that time.
Looking at the present, the two have swapped their fates. The only difference is that Hannah now is much higher in standing than Tiffany was back then.
They were acquainted in their youth, and Jackie harbored fond feelings for her ever since. Those sincere feelings couldn’t easily be forgotten.
People tend to be more cautious about investing emotions as they age, always believing the best is yet to come, and when tired, fond memories from the past become more prevalent.
Seeing the man next to him lost in thought, Richard Lee thought Jackie hadn’t heard him, so he repeated his question.
Only then did Jackie snap back from his memories, withdrawing his gaze, "She wasn’t like this before."
Richard Lee nodded and looked over,"Indeed, perhaps she squandered all the spirit of her youth. Falling from grace, it’s only natural to feel a sense of loss. Things spiralling out of control unexpectedly is not uncommon."
Someone who scored 100 would naturally feel that 98 was too low, looking down upon lower scores, triggering discontent within.
In the end, this destructive mentality could potentially ruin a person.
That’s why maintaining a balanced mindset in this industry is so critical.
