Chapter 461: Chapter 461: Not Cut From This Cloth

He thought that maybe Brother Edwards was also having fluttering feelings.

But over time, he felt that there seemed to be a real glow about Miss Winter.

Otherwise, why would everyone unconsciously shift their gaze towards her?

So, when he heard that Miss Winter was planning to write her own song, he hurried back to share this news with Brother Edwards.

She shouldn’t be bullied by others.

Hayes Edwards also thought about this, "Could she be targeted by someone?"

The assistant’s eyes shone, as if to say, "Brother Edwards, how can you be so smart!"

The manager by his side couldn’t help but speak, "You should intervene less in Hannah Winter’s affairs. Take a look at your script, unless you want to be scolded by the director. Filming is going to start soon."

The manager was truly drained, he just fell short of constantly supervising his charge 24 hours a day, persuading him to study the script, and perform well.

But every time, despite his positive assurances, as soon as he was in front of the camera, he just recited the lines mechanically without showing any facial expressions.

If it wasn’t for his fans’ support, it would be a wonder if Hayes Edwards could get any acting roles!

The manager could hardly bear to watch!

With his leg placed on the table and the thick script placed on his leg, densely filled with annotations, Hayes Edwards quipped, "See, I am reading it. You know me, right? I don’t have it in me to be an actor. I don’t have a professional acting background. I’ve told you not to get me tangled in these historic dramas, they are tiring and troublesome!"

It’s not that he didn’t want to try, but acting required talent.

He admitted that he lacked it.

His manager was exasperated, "Look at the second male lead, he isn’t from a professional acting background either, but isn’t his acting good and didn’t the director just compliment him! Doesn’t it make you feel ashamed to be a leading man and yet getting scolded every day?"

"Are you talking about that Louis something?" Hayes Edwards looked at the assistant nearby.

The assistant quickly reminded him, "Louis Snyder."

Hayes Edwards lightly raised his eyebrow, "Right, that Louis something. With his pretty boy look. How can he compare to my cultivated good looks?"

He didn’t like this Louis guy from the very first sight, always pretending to be harmless and kind.

What a joke!

He had seen all kinds of people during the talent contest, as if they could deceive him with their acts.

His manager glared at him, "Considering that his acting is better, you need to buck up. When the drama airs, and if the second male lead outshines you, what are you going to do? You’ve already got less public support than needed."

The lack of public support has always been the biggest issue for idols produced from talent shows.

Talent shows are akin to a sped-up version of idol development. Every vote is contributed by the fans who spend their hard-earned money.

Therefore, when fans see their idol’s popularity rising, and realize their idol has gained more resources, they feel a sense of accomplishment. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

This is my contribution! I made this possible!

Thus, the number of die-hard fans is undeniably massive. They form an indispensable part of the idol’s popularity.

Of course, the problem also lies with them.

When idols leave talent shows and step into the entire entertainment industry, the die-hard fans will naturally form a protective circle around their idol. They cannot bear others bullying their idols.

This circle is also known as the fan circle.

Indeed, the fan circle is a safe haven for idols. But if the circle closes up too tightly, it will become isolated.

With fans going all out to protect their idols, the idols end up spending most of their time trying to break out of the circle to broaden their fan base.

After all, parents always think their child is the best, but this may not always hold true in society.
