Chapter 449: Chapter 449 Let’s Play Together
Hannah curled her lips into a small smile, a hint of amusement twirling within her eyes. She didn’t confirm or deny her capability, uttering ambiguously, "I guess I still remember?"
Most rules and customs on Blue Star were told to her by a particular person.
That person, accustomed to acting on whims, never genuinely taught anyone else, but simply enjoyed voicing the concepts. After satisfying their chatter lust, they would pull her into the game with them.
That person never told her the names of these games, but they must have taught her how to play them.
Considering this, Sunny Lee assumed that Hannah probably didn’t know how to play.
After all, she simply couldn’t portray an image of a delicate and pretty little beauty seated at a card table, with legs crossed, shouting "bomb."
Out of the five of them, only Tiffany Lynch had yet to agree.
May Hoffman, of a gloomy disposition, had hardly spoken two sentences since the live stream had started, often used by Tiffany as a mere tool.
The host then asked Tiffany for her decision.
Everyone’s eyes were on her as the live chat encouraged her to say yes.
Then again, nobody had ever seen a group of beautiful girls playing the card game of shedding and gambling together. Typically, the members of such groups were very refined, down to every strand of their hair.
Tiffany couldn’t quite accept it, but unwilling to lose to Hannah, she reluctantly agreed, "Well if that’s the case, let’s play."
The staff brought over two decks of unopened playing cards.
Initially, they suggested all five play together, but considering the presence of novices, they decided to split into two groups and include the host.
Everyone naturally categorized Hannah and Tiffany as the beginners, so they shouldn’t be grouped together.
The initial few rounds were trials. Once everyone got the hang of it, the host began announcing penalties for the losing side.
"At the end of each game, the losing side will have to accept a Truth or Dare-like punishment. They can choose any one from the options. If the peasants lose, the game landlord will impose punishment on both, and if the game landlord loses, he will have to accept punishments from both peasants."
Since it was just a game, they did not include doubling the score for bombs.
— I hope to see Hannah Winter and Tiffany Lynch play, right? It should be quite entertaining.
— I hope the questions later won’t be too perfunctory; otherwise, it would be boring.
— Can Hannah Winter actually play? I noticed earlier that she seemed quite perplexed by the concept of a bomb in the game.
— Let Hannah Winter and Tiffany Lynch be on a team; they are the stars!
Seeing the audience’s enthusiasm, the production staff did not fail to notice and remotely prompted the host to assign Hannah and Tiffany to the same team.
This time, Tiffany agreed without hesitation. She had won the trial games and was currently at her peak confidence, eager to overshadow Hannah.
"Well then, Hannah, we should form a team, right?"
Hannah lightly fiddled with the cards in her hand, a tint of worry in her eyes, "Considering this, you might have to go easy on me."
Tiffany assumed Hannah was frightened, "While it’s just a game, it won’t be fun if we alternate in going easy on each other. So don’t worry too much, there’s nothing wrong with losing."
— It really was right to put the two of them together; I can already sense the sparks flying.
— Looks like May Hoffman has been confirmed as a silent partner, she’s been utterly silent.
— Seems like Tiffany Lynch is doing pretty well. Was her earlier reluctance pretend, to make all of us plead with her?
— Tiffany Lynch has never won against Hannah Winter on stage. She can’t possibly lose in a game of cards too, right?
