Chapter 433: Chapter 433: No Backup
The Editor-in-chief was a person who understood things clearly, he knew the rules of the circle.
Without asking much, he actively complimented, "Miss Lynch, I’ve watched a few episodes of your audition show, and I thought from the start that you were the standout among everyone. Seeing you now, you look much better in person than you do on camera."
As for others’ flattery, Tiffany Lynch seemed quite used to it.
She didn’t show any reactions, only indifferently nodding her head, "Where’s my makeup room?"
The Editor-in-chief quickly waved over a staff member, instructing, "Take Miss Lynch to her makeup room, and get Wilson to come back and do Miss Lynch’s makeup."
Wilson was their best makeup artist.
The staff member seemed a bit reluctant, "Wilson just finished doing makeup for some others and said he needs to rest."
Hearing this, Tiffany Lynch’s expression became colder.
The Editor-in-chief quickly laughed it off, pulled the staff member aside, "Hurry up and call him back, did you hear me?"
The staff member had no choice but to nod.
After he finished issuing instructions, the Editor-in-chief personally led Tiffany Lynch to her makeup room.
Lucy Taylor took a glance from a distance and sneered, "She always acts so superior wherever she goes, isn’t she tired of it?"
After speaking, she turned her gaze to Hannah, who was resting with her eyes closed, "Didn’t you sign an endorsement with a top-tier brand? By right your entourage should be even bigger, right?"
Lucy Taylor only knew that behind Hannah, there was probably some big shot supporting her, but sometimes she doubted her own judgement.
Simply because Hannah’s usual demeanour doesn’t seem like someone who relies on a sugar daddy.
When she’s flamboyant, she wishes the whole world would know her beautiful face. When she’s low-profile, she loves to curl up in a corner reading those nutritiously deficient domineering boss novels.
Lucy remembers that time she stealthily read the one Hannah left in the bathroom, it was really...
Cough cough, a bit hard to stop.
It was very stimulating.
She doesn’t know how Hannah could read it with a straight face.
Hannah opened her eyes, sighed leisurely, "Don’t you know I’m just a solo trainee? I don’t have a company, and there’s no one for me to rely on."
As she spoke, she took out a small mirror from somewhere, giving off a slightly melancholic vibe, "I’m just relying on this beautiful face of mine; the kind that makes fish sink, geese fall, moons hide, and flowers blush with shame. Otherwise, who knows what kind of bullying I would have to endure? It’s so sad."
Her tone was wistful, like a decent woman oppressed by others.
But ironically, she had a face that could cause the downfall of a city or state.
Lucy Taylor just shook her head in speechless disbelief, "You’re acting up again."
She was used to it now.

Makeup artist Wilson was trying to catch some shut-eye, and being suddenly pulled out to do makeup put him in a bad mood.
But basic professional integrity still prevailed, and he treated his work very seriously.
In contrast, Tiffany Lynch seemed a bit unsatisfied.
She thought Wilson was applying the makeup too slowly.
Little did she know that her skin condition had been really poor recently. After removing her makeup, her face looked exceptionally haggard.
Wilson had to apply all his skills just to cover up those blemishes.
Yet, Tiffany Lynch kept rushing him incessantly.
Wilson thought to himself, the previous person who was a thousand times more beautiful than you didn’t act as arrogantly as you. Who does she think she is!
Finally finishing the makeup, Wilson, holding his breath, left without a word.

The shooting location was set in a manor-style hotel.
Since it had been built not long ago, there weren’t many people staying there.
The magazine had negotiated with the management to reserve a portion of the land in front of the manor for the shoot.
