Chapter 422: Chapter 422: Fear You’ll Fall

Regarding the permanent panel of the show, besides Jackie Qualls, all joined the performance team.

It was a kind of boost.

However, whether online or on-site, the most popular were Hannah and Hayes Edwards, the applause and cheering for them could even be heard clearly backstage.

Backstage.

Hannah was the last to arrive, dressed in red; her entrance caught everyone’s eye, almost stealing all the light from the room, every gaze landed on her dainty and charming face instinctively.

Despite their unwillingness to admit it, they had to concede that Hannah had a face that could topple nations, even more glamorous with makeup.

"I told you. I told you to ask the stylist to shorten the dress but you don’t believe me. If you trip on stage, don’t blame me for not warning you. I’ll be the first to laugh at you."

Hayes, wearing a matching robe, looked dashing, something that did not give off a cheesy vibe, instead, it added a chivalrous touch to his elegance.

He held the hem of Hannah’s dress in his hand, muttering non-stop without caring about the looks other people were giving him.

Hannah fondled the pleats of her dress, her eyes filled with delight. "You don’t understand, it looks good when I dance this way."

Hayes snorted, "I’m just afraid you’ll hurt yourself."

"I don’t need your help." Hannah glared at him, then snatched her dress hem from his hand, holding it herself as she headed toward her seat.

Hayes grumbled, "You’re getting stingier as you grow up. You were much more generous before... "

The chatter around them quietened down. Tiffany Lynch eyed Hannah walking over, tightly gripping her own red dress, the perfect smile on her face gradually cooling.

Matching outfits, although different styles, the similarities were apparent when compared.

However, whether it was in terms of looks or temperament, the two were worlds apart. Tiffany always gave off a sense of overly fabricated perfection. She ranked among the beauties due to her meticulous makeup, but compared to Hannah, it was clear who was superior.

Someone wondered aloud, "Wasn’t it said that Hayes Edwards is hard to get along with, and he appeared to be terrified of women on his last reality show? It seems now like he and Hannah Winter are on quite good terms, don’t they?"

"What’s not to get? Handsome guys love beautiful girls. As long as they are good-looking, whether it’s natural or nurtured, we can’t compete."

The girl’s words were tinged with sarcasm, she rolled her eyes at Hannah, then turned to Tiffany with a flattering tone, "Tiffany, I think you’re way prettier, we are sure to come first in this round because we have you on our team."

Tiffany caught the condescension in the girl’s words, she coldly responded standing up, "Don’t compare me to Hannah Winter."

She left her seat as soon as she finished speaking.

The girl’s expression soured, "Pretentious!"

Tiffany made her way towards Hannah, with proud poise and a haughty look, eyeing the hem of Hannah’s dress.

However, before she could take any action, Hayes, who was walking ahead, suddenly turned back. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Their eyes met. Hayes’ eyes were filled with inquiry and doubt, Tiffany was a bit flustered, struggling to steady her emotions. Then she saw Hayes starting to walk towards her.

Thought her intent was noticed by Hayes, Tiffany looked away pretending it wasn’t a big deal, ready to leave directly, but accidentally tripped and fell.
