Chapter 415: Chapter 415: Special Guest Lecturer

While the program team was adjusting the stage lighting, Sunny Lee couldn’t wait to share her gossip with Hannah, "Hayes Edwards was the face voted in the first season, universally acknowledged as handsome. Beyond that, his career outshines everyone in their group. I heard he debuted in third place because someone deliberately suppressed his votes. However, the fact proves that what belongs to you will always be yours."

Hayes initially participated in the first season of "Shining Star Road" as a solo trainee. Before that, he was completely unknown.

Even today, despite Hayes’ meteoric rise, no one has been able to dig up any information about him prior to the show. Some even speculate that Hayes might actually be a rich tycoon’s son, trying to experience life out in the world.

Of course, Hayes has never bothered to explain anything about this.

Time flies. Today, the boy group that debuted from the first season of "Shining Star Road" has essentially disbanded, with each member focusing on their individual careers and rarely releasing any new songs.

Hayes is naturally the one who has had the most success. A handsome face is, after all, a passport in the entertainment industry.

His acting skills aren’t great, they could even be considered quite cringe-worthy. But fans love him and he drives traffic. Even if his performance is tremendously awkward, people still hire him for roles.

As for the rumor back then, alleging that Hayes’ votes were suppressed, no conclusions have been drawn. Nevertheless, according to the fans’ vote count, Hayes should have debuted in first place considering his consistently good performance.

Now, the fact that the TV crew could get Hayes back as a regular is a roundabout way of telling the public that the suppression of votes was fabricated, effectively dissipating the recent scandalous hot searches concerning the program.

After the scene quieted down, Jackie Qualls began to explain the song selection rules for the second round.

In a major change from the previous round, where the songs were chosen according to level, this time they were arranged according to online fan votes.

Fan votes would decide the contestants’ performance songs.

Put another way, this also tests the fans’ knowledge of their idols. If a song selected by the fans can be perfectly handled by their idol, it would absolutely be a fantastic chance to win more points.

But if the idol can’t pull it off...

There will be a second elimination after this round.

The screen quickly displayed all the song choices for this round.

A total of eight songs. This time, there was no separation between dancing and singing, everyone’s performance was a mix of both.

This was undoubtedly a challenge and made some trainees who wanted to avoid their weaknesses complain in suffering.

"I really hope my fans can help me pick a good song. Please don’t let me get something too intense that I can’t handle it well."

"If you have enough fans, naturally you can choose the song, but for those of us with few fans, I’m afraid we can only leave it to fate."

"I just glanced once and there is an ancient style song among the eight. If I’m not mistaken, ’Moonlight’ is a piece of instrumental music, right? Are we supposed to write our own lyrics? I really hope I don’t end up with that."

"You might not even get the chance, I heard Hannah Winter’s fans want to see her recreate the ancient charisma of her debut stage. There’s a good chance this song will be taken by Hannah’s fans."

"I do think Hannah Winter suits it well. But Tiffany Lynch seems to fit it too, her delicate demeanor does have an ancient touch."
