Chapter 340: Chapter 340: Canvassing Votes

Tiffany Lynch and the people around her scoffed at the scene from afar.

"Hannah Winter is so shameless. Who does campaigning like that, forcing people to vote for her? Does she really think she’s as beautiful as a fairy or something?"

The girl finished speaking, then turned to the exquisitely made-up Tiffany Lynch and flattered, "Tiffany, in my opinion, Hannah Winter is not even a fraction as stunning as you."

As she spoke these insincere words of flattery, her smile was clearly forced.

Another quiet girl sneered, too embarrassed to retort.

Now, Tiffany Lynch was pretty, but her beauty was of a cool elegance. Her fans loved this about her.

That being said, comparing Tiffany Lynch to Hannah was really futile.

It all came down to valuing a high-born lady’s modest elegance over the enticing charm of a seductive enchantress.

However, in reality, aren’t all those people who criticize her in their hearts yearning to keep such an enchantress all to themselves, embittered by their unattainable desire?

People are so skilled at self-deception.

Tiffany pulled her gaze back, taking a casual glance at the groveling girl next to her. "Only those who have never seen the world would fancy such a useless thing. I want the C position as center stage, a pretty face means nothing."

She wanted to be in the spotlight, having all the lights fall on her. As for Hannah Winter...

She would make Hannah realize that the gap between them was an insurmountable one.

Her mother had told her, to handle such people, all she needed to do was maintain her high and elegant position, and they would naturally feel inferior.

After Tiffany spoke, the quiet girl next to her murmured, "Being the face of the group is actually quite nice. Isn’t Hayes Edwards from last season just the face of the group? Now he’s doing even better than the center."

The girl spoke very softly, but Tiffany heard it nonetheless. Her complexion darkened and quickly turned away.

The others hurried to follow her while scolding the outspoken girl.

The girl felt wronged, glanced at Hannah’s direction, and followed Tiffany’s steps after all.

She was simply speaking the truth.

Who doesn’t appreciate good looks?

Hannah felt that Sunny Lee, the girl, might also have a knack for managing artists as she managed to gather up all the girls around Hannah in no time.

Everything quieted down around her in an instant.

She had only taken a few steps when Joan King, who was hiding behind the flower bed, hurriedly ran out.

Hannah stopped in her tracks, and laughed lightly. "So it’s Miss King."

The comment instantly turned Joan King pale, she wiped her sweat hastily, "No way, please just call me Joan King."

Hannah concealed her smile, "Did you need something?"

Joan looked around, seeing that no one was nearby and that it was a blind spot from the cameras, she dared to take something out.

It was a mobile phone, sealed in a bag.

Hannah’s mobile phone.

Joan respectfully held the mobile phone in her hand, handed it over to Hannah, and fawned, "President Simmons instructed me to return the phone to Miss Winter."

After saying that and seeing no response from the figure before her, Joan began sweating again.

Initially, she had thought that George River, the President of Prideful Entertainment, was the most influential protector around, but then an even bigger fish appeared.

She didn’t know much about this President Simmons, after all, they were from different worlds, but judging from the production team’s response, he was probably an individual who George River couldn’t compare with even if there were ten of him. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

After a moment of silence, Hannah reached out and took the phone.
