Chapter 312: Chapter 312: Think it over yourself

Would these people also view her in the same way?

The young man stopped himself from thinking further. His eyes were dark and gloomy, as if he was only one step away from an endless abyss.

After a long time, he spoke with a hoarse voice, "I have other matters, I’m leaving first."

The dark shadows intertwined in the private room. The cleanliness he had once obtained by stepping on others was now mercilessly dragged down into the mud.

His whole body was dirty and unbearable.

Now it was his turn.

The actress by his side hurriedly grabbed him, "Hey, what’s wrong with you. I brought you here out of goodwill, what do you mean by leaving now?"

She clung onto the young man’s hand, her nails leaving several red marks on his arm. The next second, the woman felt a cold gaze on her.

The young man hung his head low, his messy bangs covering his exquisite eyes. The look in his eyes was gloomy and angry. His voice was deep and icy, "Let go."

Frightened by his gaze, the woman subconsciously let go.

Louis Snyder turned around to leave but hadn’t walked far when he heard Oliver Taylor’s voice from behind. "The second lead role in my new drama, you can stay, the role is yours."

His voice was full of amusement, as if he was teasing a cat or a dog.

For these rich second-generation, getting a secondary lead was nothing and they didn’t care at all.

They can disregard it, but Louis Snyder can’t. This was the only way he could change his current situation.

He wouldn’t be satisfied starting from scratch.

Seeing that he seemed to be considering, Oliver Taylor added, "I always keep my promises."

Louis Snyder lowered his head, dispelling the gloom in his eyes. His clenched fist loosened and he walked back.

As he passed the woman, he heard a mocking voice, "What’re you pretending for, you’re still here to sell yourself."

Louis Snyder stopped in his tracks.

He had heard this phrase many times, but it was always directed at Hannah Winter, in her efforts to curry favor with these rich second-generation.

The young man continued walking and finally sat next to Oliver Taylor.

The storm he once shielded from eventually fell on him.

Indeed, Oliver Taylor was not interested in Louis Snyder.

Pointing at the unopened bottles of wine on the table, he gestured generously, "Finish these wines, and the role is yours."

Once he finished talking, everyone around him burst out laughing.

It was as though they were watching a show.

They didn’t consider Louis Snyder as a human being.

The young man’s eyes were gloomy, completely devoid of the pretense of being well-behaved from his past. Anger due to humiliation welled up in his heart but he forcefully suppressed it. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

He knew that he couldn’t offend any of the people sitting here. In fact, he had to curry favor with them.

Oliver Taylor laughed, "I don’t like to force others, nor do I urge anyone to drink. Consider it carefully."

After he finished speaking, others also started egging him on.

"Drink, what are you pretending for?"

"It’s just a few bottles of wine, we’re not asking you to lose your virginity. What are you afraid of, go on!"

"Drink, drink, if you don’t, Brother Taylor will give the role to someone else."

They all laughed again, most of it was mocking and enjoyment from their entertainment.

Even those from outside gathered around.

Even some of the other male artists, seeing that Louis Snyder hadn’t moved for a long time, had already rushed to Brother Taylor and recommended themselves.

After all, drinking alcohol in exchange for a role was indeed a good deal.

Louis Snyder’s eyes were full of cold light, but when he opened them again, they had returned to calmness.
