Chapter 310: Chapter 310: Sending You a Red Envelope
Oliver Taylor might not bear the same high status as Arnold Simmons, but after having mingled within these circles for many years, Hannah was the first one to dare to call him "Taylor".
However, he didn’t dare to protest, nor did he feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, he accepted it cheerfully, "If it pleases you, command me, Miss Winter."
The drinking session happening today was organized by Oliver Taylor, albeit at the behest of Hannah, relayed through Arnold Simmons.
Arnold was worried about Hannah’s injury but he couldn’t resist the young lady’s coquetry. Before leaving, he admonished Oliver, "Don’t let her drink."
Oliver Taylor readily agreed and watched as Arnold Simmons went inside.
The inside room was bustling with excitement, with everyone having a great time. As soon as Arnold entered, the noise level decreased by half.
Hannah took her eyes off him. As soon as Arnold left, the arrogance and softness in her eyes and brows faded significantly.
She looked at Oliver Taylor, who was sitting far away, and beckoned him with a smile, "Taylor, come sit here."
Oliver Taylor didn’t dare to, waving his hands, "I...I’m good here."
He wouldn’t dare get close to the boss’s woman, even glancing at her made him fear losing his eyeballs.
Hannah slightly frowned, complaining, "It’s hard for me to talk when you sit so far away."
Oliver Taylor hesitated before moving only about two fingers’ width.
Hannah saw that he really was scared, and realized that Arnold must have established his authority over a long period of time. Although she found it boring, she didn’t tease him further.
"Taylor, I heard you’ve invested in another play lately?"
Oliver Taylor nodded, "Yes, exactly. Are you interested too, Miss Winter?"
Hannah curled her red lips, "It’s not me who’s interested, but someone else."
Oliver Taylor was a whirlwind of thoughts in his mind, even speculating whether Miss Winter had distanced the boss just to insert some other man behind his back?
He was shocked.
The first person that came to his mind was Louis Snyder from before.
The guy was good-looking and most importantly, the boss had approved of him. So, he started paying more attention.
What Hannah said next indeed confirmed Oliver’s guess.
But it was just the first half of the guess, the second half...
After Hannah finished speaking, she sat up straight. There was a hint of charm between her brows and eyes, yet her gaze was clear, "You can handle it, right, Taylor?"
Oliver Taylor nodded, "Rest assured, I will definitely do as you say."
Hannah got up, picked up the coat Arnold had left behind, "Good boy, I’ll ask your boss to give you a bonus."
Oliver Taylor chuckled, beaming.
But he thought to himself, how quickly a woman can turn her face. No wonder a harmless little white flower couldn’t catch the boss’s eye.
This was truly invigorating.

How could Oliver Taylor forget about what Hannah had instructed? However, he didn’t expect Louis Snyder to arrive so soon.
Another social gathering, but this time, Arnold Simmons was absent. Apparently, Miss Winter had taken a fancy to the sea, and the boss had taken her on a flight to another city, even going abroad.
Though the show was still on hold, there was not a peep on the internet.
The party tonight was lively. With Arnold away, Oliver naturally established himself as the ring leader.
Louis came alongside a female artist he had met recently.
The woman was almost thirty, didn’t stand out much within the circle, but her family background was decent. Although they weren’t among the high society, they did have a few connections.
After a considerable period, Louis Snyder returned to the party. Only this time, he didn’t have anyone to handle the socialities for him.
As soon as he entered the room, he saw Oliver, who was sitting in the middle, being flattered by everyone. His expression faltered and he slowed down a bit.
